    For anyone who sees this video, please keep in mind that the Fixed Frame Rate setting doesn't just set a maximum frame rate like the t.MaxFPS command does, it sets a constant target frame rate, and it will slow down the actual speed of your game to attempt to match the frame rate you have set if you can't reach it normally! Some people may want this feature of course, but it is not communicated anywhere in this video, and that's really unfortunate because anyone who watches this may believe that it's a preferable alternative to the console command, when in reality it does something entirely different. Based on the comments, it seems like many have already made this assumption. This very well could've been a mistake on the creator's part, so I am not saying this to call them out or be rude or anything like that. However, I do think that a pinned comment or something to point this out would be really helpful.

      @@caldercockatoo2234 thanks for this, this was to reduce a common issue at the time to reduce coil whine that was common in certain cards at the time it wasn’t meant to be a permanent alternative to setting FPS correctly It was a common question I got asked 😊

      @@1tymepolo548 from memory he anims outside of the sequencer won’t show in the sequencer, you have to add that anim to the sequencer

      @ if you’ve dragged it on to the characters animation track in sequencer it should work when you either scrub or hit play in the sequencer

    hello good and helpfull vid, i have a question, in a procedural foliage sistem u need to work with meshes, no with blueprints,and I want the foliage not to be drawn at a certain distance from the player. I actually make disappear the foliage for distance with the last lod of the mesh that i reduce the triangles to min value and scale at little value (to 0.1) thats makes a cull effect well but the foliage doesnt disappear completely, it only seems that way because it gets smaller. the question: can i make disappears completely, a way to make all meshes of the same type disappear for distance without using blueprint ? and how because the static mesh editor have not the max draw distance option. so much thanks and sorry the extend comment

      heya! Are you using PCG In unreal 5? I think from memory there's something called a PCG Distance Filter node that you apply and can then dictate cull distance there

      @@Broockle you can edit the main uproject file in notepad (usually your project name with the unreal logo) and set the plugin values from true to false to see if that helps

    You can export meshes with textures from Unreal bei selection gltf during the export instead of fbx. You may need to enable the gltf exporter plugin in unreal for that. It was enabled for me by default.

      @@joedickenson3d Ah i see yes i am basically using livelink in my case i have over 10 actors in the scene and could take a little time to export each one and bring them in, do you know if there is a way to ungroup them when using livelink? i could do the main scene as fbx but in terms of actors i need them all positioned in there exact spots and to manually move them would take me a lot more time so it would be great if there was an ungroup option if not though i really appreciate your help in the matter and i subbed to your awesome channel! thanks a million

    I'm using a directional light with the fog as well, and when I apply the fix, it does not work for me. Would you have an idea as to why the directional light will not work with this fix?

      @@prototypechannel6975 either way not sure why you’ve come on to say this as the video is about changing AA types if you already knew this kind of thing I assume you didn’t need to know how to change the AA type 🤣
