There are two meanings in Korean: mountain monkey and mountain butterfly. If you've played the game, you'll know what these two mean.

But believe me, it does not ruin the whole experience and the emotional theme even if no encyclopedic information is provided. Also, as only Koreans can fully appreciate the story written in Korean, they cannot imagine how English natives receive the story, narratives and contexts. It’s not a hierarchy but heterogeneity.
