A horrible tragic day made worse by the Jersey Shore dude bro commentating.

So many people said that there was no planes even though it was filmed by hundreds of locals and TV crews. It is amazing how we can make up stuff to fit our beliefs.

Anytime you see footage of an actual traumatic event; knowing what the real story was; it reinforces how sketchy initial witness accounts are. This guy was rock solid in his account of what happened and he had good evidence to support his conclusion. Anyone witnessing his video at that time would have believed him. As he makes his way through the crowds and occasionally offering his account; the certainty of his tone, backed by his claim of camera evidence, would have left many people overhearing him to then pass that same account to anyone else. I'm surprised that we didn't hear anyone else speak up just as adamantly that is was in fact a plane since there must have been many TVs on in the downtown area with the video footage of the second tower being hit played over and over. Within minutes of the second tower being struck; every news organization switched from speculation about what exactly hit the first tower-to certainty with evidence that they were not only airliners; but obviously intentional terrorist attacks. In an emergency situation you have to retain a little skepticism about first hand accounts, no matter how sincere. The missing 1/2 second of this young man's video would have told a completely different story. I'm also fascinated by his inclination to get closer to an obviously dangerous situation. I was safely on the other side of the country; but had I been in NY city; I would not have been convinced that those towers with that much damage were going to continue to stand. I would also have been thinking that if they did fall it would not necessarily be straight down and I would be well away from that strike zone if the worst were to happen. This kids braver than me and I'm glad he was one of many who helped document this tragedy.

How those two planes just disappeared into the Towers.

Another sad thing among the many, many that happened that day was fact that some of the jumpers, actually doing it intentionally. Lot of people were in survival mode, pushing towards a broken window and lot of individuals were forced out; in which case probably never be known if intentional or not. Either way though it’s a frightening situation to be in.

They had attempted to use a van loaded with explosives that they blew up in the underground garage to try to bring them down back in the early 90s.

The explosion on impact to the 2nd tower was the equivalent of approx. 500,000 lbs of TNT. Keep that in mind when you see comments the towers were brought down by "controlled demolition". Frankly, it's amazing the bldgs stood as long as they did. Due to sustained high heat from the fires, the steel frames eventually weakened which caused the floors above the fire to collapse. This is why the 2nd tower collapsed first because the jet struck lower in the bldg which meant more weight above the fire zone. Rescue workers found molten steel in the ruins.

These immature idiots watching this unfold, are insensitive jerks! Total disregard for human life. No wonder other countries want to kill us!!!!

Had you erase when people were jumping? I sadly saw the first one in your video but I could not see the others.. .I know some people were told before posting years later to erase the jumpers but I think that’s not good…We need to remember and honour everyone including the jumpers…It shocks me too seeing this happening
