ENOUGH IS enough no more hiring MURDERERS, RAPISTS, SERIAL KILLERS AND NARCISSISTS AND EGOTISTICAL MANIACS. IT REALLY IS TIME FOR LAW ENFORCERS TO DO AND BE JUST THAT AND STOP ALL OF THE VIOLATION OF PEOPLE'S RIGHTS AND ASSAULTS AND TAZINGS, ILLEGALLY DETAINING AND ARRESTING, EXCESSIVE USE OF FORCE. AND STOP BREAKING THE LAWS THAT YOU WOULD STOP, TICKET AND/ OR ARREST THE PUBLIC FOR DOING YOU ARE NOT ABOVE THE LAW. BE LAW ENFORCERS AND ENFORCE THE LAWS NOT POLICIES AND RULES OR MADE UP LAWS. HONOR YOUR OATHS TO UPHOLD OUR, THE PUBLICS RIGHTS AND UPHOLD THE LAW. AND EVEN THO THE SUPREME COURT SAYS YOU CAN LIE TO US DON'T. AND BE THE KIND OF PEACE KEEPERS THAT ACTUALLY KEEP THE PEACE AND RETURN TO PROTECTING AND SERVING.

People should utilize their Constitutional facet under the 1st Amendment,, and carry their own video recording devices.. No foot dragging or outright refusal during a FOIA request,, and no redactions on either video or audio playback...Plus,, if EVERYONE knows EVERYONE Is recording.. that much more incentive for EVERYONE to follow the law...and NO one gets to make it up as they go along.

Ok Look this issue goes way beyond one black person or the whole racial issue. The real issue at hand is police integrity and dignity. I don’t know much about the APD but I do know there has been a police culture of saying there’s only “A fee bad apples” plaguing departments. Well if you know they’re there why don’t you actively go and investigate them? isn’t that money in your pocket if you successfully lock up a criminal? or are most of the cops who know what’s going on too afraid to go against their own “blue” brothas and sistas?

Yes there are good officer's out there and we support you all but pls do expose the bad apples that destroying the force.

The biggest problem amongst cops is that they do not step in to correct errant cops - so many stand back and do nothing. So many cops are ignorant of the laws they have sworn to uphold, or they deliberately lie and trample on the constitutional rights of others.

Part of the problem with policing is that these cops deal with the dark, ugly, shitty underbelly of society so much that they become seriously jaded and when they do encounter a "regular" citizen a lot of times they lose the ability to differentiate the two and just put everybody they come in contact with into the same category.

I’m a 57 year old black man black father who has six black daughters & two black sons! Proud to be a black man. However I’m afraid every day I wake up to go to work/to the store/ to get gasoline to go for a ride etc This should not happen in 2021 or ever! It’s obvious that WHITE POLICE men not officers hate us black men/ with out a cause other than it’s part of their DNA forefathers/ it’s in the blood line That’s why Jesus said you need to be born again blood transfusion/ tradition is not good you don’t have to be like your forefathers. Now is too late, George Floyd was un armed man. He couldn’t breathe and he is now in heaven. We need a change in liability and criminal charges for any police officers in the nation who condones and stays silent when their fellow police officers are committing a crime against humanity. The brutality has already been committed for years I’m sure! Who know how many innocent lives are affected. They kept silent for too long! A change is what we all need as the truth falls over murdered citizens and brutal actions against the innocent and framed. False allegations, police aggressive tactics and pure corruption. The only way we can heal is to replace the entire police nation with people who care truly about the community and have not only god but a true good spirit in their hearts with bravery. I have lived in Alexandria City for quite some time. These are some of the finest officers I've met and thank goodness I've never had to meet them on police business. They are true community police and I am proud to live in a city protected by this police force. God Bless every one of them and God Bless Officer Peter Laboy who survived a horrific injury and was supported by this fine police force.
