I just got a 2025 Ninja 500. I want to install an exhaust that sounds like yours. Which one do you have?

Dont worry about the 600cc plus people. I'm an old guy who has ridden lots of years. I've had 636s and 1100s, but I've downsized for better gas mileage. Some group rides will require 6 or 650, but I don't do group rides very often. If you dont know the whole group, they may not ride safe.

I have a question regarding gear: First and foremost I've never ridden a bike and therefore all I've seen is RUclips content about it so far so feel free to correct me + English isn't my mother tongue. What are the reasons people choose to not wear gear? Is it because it is more convenient, appearance or maybe because of the cost of gear? I see it as a personal preference so everyone can do it how they want. I would gravitate towards going full gear if I would get the chance to ride myself since I'm a rather careful person. Also I think full gear does look really nice in my opinion. In a way this seems a bit similar to people deciding to go skating without gear but in the case of motorcycles in a more severe way if something does go wrong without wearing it.

Male rider here, another point I'd like to bring up is that all riders should watch motorcycle crash videos. Not only does it let reality of what might happen sink in but it's also a great way to learn what NOT to do in certain situations. It's definitely saved me a couple times
