The first time I ever saw Steve Morris band he opened up for rush at the LA form . Rush was touring on the grace under pressure album and Steve Morse was supporting his introduction album That young man ripped it up !
i JUST WANT TO SAY THAT i LOVED THIS SONG WHEN i HEARD IT BACK IN 1988 i HAVE NOT HAD ONE PERSON IN MY LIFE WHO KNEW OF OR LOVED THIS BAND AND ESPECIALLY THIS SONG i AM SO THANKFUL THAT RUclips EXISTS AND IT VALIDATES THAT THERE ARE OTHER HUMAN BEINGS ARE HAVE THE SAME FEELINGS AS MYSELF THANK YOU
Kris just rips. She’s my new fav guitar player. She’s got the energy of Pete Townshend and the right hand rhythm of Nancy Wilson. Kris straight up fucking rocks 🤘
Hey Michael! Long time!! Hope this finds you well.. Ghetto Din Din.. great memories. I think this was from the Allyson b day party with Chris Whitley, right?
Yep... got to meet him and Morse at the Atlanta NAMM around this time... awesome to hear them play unplugged. I fondly remember introducing my wife to Lee... I pointed him out and told her he was the greatest country guitarist of all time... he took her hand and softly spoke in his native English... the look she gave me! She thought I was jerking her chain until she saw him playing on stage later that night.
This has to be the best ever performance of this song, can’t imagine it getting any better than this. The energy and groove they hit is just electric, you can see in their body language that they’re just giving it 110%. The rhythm section is tight and locked in and Moe’s guitar licks are crisp and edgy. His vocals are expressive and just brimming with attitude as are his facial expressions and arm gestures. A complete live performance, doesn’t getting any better than this.
Agreed. I saw Moe with his old band Troc 59 back in the early '80s at a campus pub at the University of Alberta. This was the kind of performance I came to expect from him based on that.
i did a cover for the zoom show "yesterdays elephant", swear i didnt see he had the pink denim jacket before! xD ruclips.net/video/jWFEkwAhyxE/видео.html
Moe Berg's tone is absolutely off the charts! I subconsciously let out a cavemanesk grunt everytime he hits that open E, goddam that shit cuts straight to the soul!
I saw him this past week playing as part of the band "Trans Canada Highwaymen" and he did this song. Steven Page from Barenaked Ladies and Chris from Sloan were with him. Forgot all about Moe! Fun show!
The first Pursuit Of Happiness album kicked butt.
What is the guitar she is playing? Is it a Fernandez?

Brilliance.
You do know that Pete played on a lot of Bob Seger's stuff. Alabama boy.
This is the Chopin of rock ! Will endure the test of time.
That‘s already the second song in which I noticed him wishing to be a sailor.

No Strat for Moe? No LP for Abbott? Very strange indeed.
I have images of this guy in his sixties singing this at the Hollywood Bowl. 😂
Wicked good.
Beautiful!
This is the best version of this song. The energy is awesome and Moe's guitar is the difference!
Sgt. in the barracks used to make me turn this down 'cause this song always got turned up.
Someone should play this for the Canadian freedumb trucker convoy.
Why? Get a Life.
MTV & Much Music’s Canadiana tidal wave is led by Moe’s smart, edgy & tight groove, hook, lyrics & harmony. Our 80’s Twist & Shout!🤘🎸🇨🇦🥁
This Power Pop Space in time was some of the best crunchiest good times....

I believe Albert Lee is both, singing and playing guitar on this.(??)

Very well said.
A head of their time and CANADIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He wrote this as a tribute to his (then) new bride Iman Abdulmajid.

Comically trite lyrics...Some SERIUOS playing around the lyrical foolisness, 'tho...
I’m 57 and I can’t believe I still got the problems of an ADult....

There’s nothing sexier than a hot chick pumping on a rhythm guitar.
All the magic of the Muscle Shoals Studios is here ... And Bob Wray is on top ! Greetings from Belgium to all Pete's fans !
The guitar solo sizzles hotter that frying fatty bacon. And Moe Berg is gorgeous af here. No homo. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

This song could work now, still sounds great, definitely not dated.
Kris Abbott! Rocks.
I know and they don't show her the whole time. . .
