Best advice I’ve seen so far.

Never had tie rod get stuck this bad before, so figured I would have to split it. I used a torch for 10 mins and penetrating oil to no success. I'm going to try again tomorrow and see if letting it sit overnight with penetrating oil will help. The jam nut was a pain in the butt as well but I got that free.

How the vtec solenoid went on at 3000rpm? You manually switched?

You saved my day. I been working on a 2005 Dakota and the passenger side tie rod would not come off. I tried a pipe wrench and even a torch. I cut a slit in just like in your video and it came right off.

I wanted to call this crazy, but it worked for me. I tried heat and the end would just not move. Cut the tiniest slit and it finally broke free when i tried to turn it again. Only knicked two threads with my cut. Thanks for the tip!
