Brother ELIJAH I APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORTS👍
You need to do more of these imo. I always love seeing how other people think to build out to their own visualizations.

The market for data analyst is oversaturated right now
@@shafialanower3820 I mention that in the video. Still possible to break in, but that’s why it’s so hard 😊
For the last year I’ve been going the “free” (to minimal investment) route. Although I’ve picked up some skills along the way, I got fed up because I really didn’t feel that I was making forward progress to the end goal of being a hirable candidate. I felt that I was poking around in the dark with no clear map forward. It was a hard pill to swallow but I pulled the trigger and enrolled in Career Foundry. Their curriculum has the breadth, depth, direction, guidance and support I need to feel secure that I will make that forward progress. If all goes well, I should be in a new career by mid to late 2025. 🤞
Hahahaha that is hilarious and the speed of the drawing is perfection.

@@Cdawg6429o the best kind!
Python is helpful, but SQL has been far more versatile and useful in my stack. Still, Python has been helpful for data transformation in the scope of an application or macro. Good vid!
@@Cdawg6429o Agree, and thank you!
From the perpective of what happens on the day-to-day activities your advice is 200% right and I agree totally! Unfortunely on my country (I don't know if its a cultural thing), for entry level jobs a loooot of them ask Python, SQL, Power BI and sometimes SAS even thought on your daily tasks you will never need Python (at least for the entry level job). I left a job where they didn't even have (or plan to have) a database and asked on the job description SQL, Python and Machine Learning for my role! For an intern who wins almost the minimum national salary!! I've seen a bunch "specialists" coming from big consultant companies coming as "heroes" that knew it all and when they reached the job, they couldn't do anything and I needed to teach them! So my guess, is that almost everyone over inflate their competences, so its making the "market" a big bubble (at least in Portugal). And then there was me... being complete honest in interviews trying to get a job where I could learn and develop more, it is a huge disadvantage! I'm still complete honest on the interviews (im not gonna give up on my values), and what's helping me is that im doing some courses (Jose Padilla's) and building a simple portfolio in Python and I mention (and more important show) it at the interviews which gives me some extra points. Another thing that's helping is if they ask something that I don't know I showcase my eagerness and skill to learn it quickly (if you give examples it helps) but mostly important you need to show confidence. You need to be confident in all the process. I agree totally with Elijah (your insights and work is incredible), I just wanted to give some advice with what's working for me if people find themselves in a culture/position similar to mine. I hope it helps someone! Have a great day, you will find a job 🖐

I'm still trying to figure out what I wanna specialize in. I started out with Front-End Web Development. I learned HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, And JS (except for OOP, promises, closures, and async and await) I got a bit bored so I tried out data analytics. I learned SQL alot, some excel, and I'm still learning power bi. Idk what to do for my future (still in 2nd year of MIS) so I'm trying a little bit of everything to be well equipped for any opportunity. Therefore, I don't have a lot of time so I'm gonna avoid python for the time being.
@@IssaAbbani just give one thing your full effort, and if it isn’t for you, try something else 😃
@ImElijahButler_ That's the thing. I may feel comfortable with one thing and then find something better and so on. I'm trying to nail the basics of a few things and I'll advance according to my opportunities. (PS: U should make a course on RUclips. I got a feeling that you'd be a good teacher).

I've 1 question, in a job the data which we get has millions of rows so how exactly do we clean it? (Like I've done a lot of data cleaning but the data which I use as a student is relatively small so I'm curious to know about this) You explain everything in such a simple yet effective way so I'm pretty sure you'll definitely solve mah doubt.
@@md.rehanshaikh1162 good question! First of all, you won’t be using all million rows of data. If it’s a smaller amount of data, you can do it in Excel, or you can do it in SQL regardless. So I think it’s good to know how to do it in both. Other than that, it’s different for each case bc you never know what’ll be making the data dirty. Maybe you need to pull state data for Florida, but in the state column, there are values equaling Florida, florida, FA, misspellings, and Florida with extra spaces. There are plenty of text formulas to help you do this. But again it’s kind of a case to case question. But overall, you most of the time won’t actually be working with nearly that many rows. If you are, maybe you can get them to change how the data is inputted to fix those errors at the starts. Does that help? 😃
@@ImElijahButler_ I kind of understand it but ig I'll understand it better once i experience it
@@md.rehanshaikh1162 you will. If you learn the skills and do what research you can about data cleaning, you can figure it out once you’re on the job
