SCSU hands down with ASU percussion 🔥🔥but the absolute best is while the credits are rolling.
Neck will never get old. Coming from someone that was class of 2005 Camden Fairview High
At 7:49 it's the face expression that gets me 😂😂😂
Howard all day! Just because it’s more musical and has that go-go feel to it!
SU JSU an Famu
1:47 guy pops up at bottom left in 2nd row, fourth person from the left. Sits down and pops up again at around 2:09 😂😂😂
I saw a few that weren’t good but that’s an opinion lol
Shout out to one of the greatest funk bands of all time, Cameo, for creating this legendary tune!
Cookman all day!!!
1. SU (best arrangement and sound) 2. JSU 3. Bethune (sounded great and the quint break was 🔥)
FAMU... they are the only band where you can hear ALL the parts from all the instruments. It's about musicality, not just being loud. Say it with me WOODWINDS EXIST.
Jackson State plays it best in my opinion. They have a snappier version.
AOB
JSU!!!!
We don't have anything like this here in the UK.
Texas S - Tempo ❤️ SC State - Tubas ❤️❤️ Famu - Energy/Length ❤️❤️❤️
Cookman hands down got this one on lock. That swing it way better. The tubas crank hard too. Got forget the band singing in 3 part harmony as well. Another level. Shout to all the HBCUs though.
I know I’m 10 years late but, I like the way Howard University plays it too.
Alabama State University owns... This is the Neck that was played during the same event of the JSU Neck clip... The crowd went up in complete cheer ruclips.net/video/hM2UPJcqfr8/видео.html
NORFOLK STATE SOUNDS A HOT MESS 😳😐
The Spartan Legion forever! Behold The Green and Gold! 🙌🏾
JSU and BCU. Norfolk sounded stupid to me. 😂
It was Alabama State, the intro is so beautiful
I'm here cause I can't find the rendition that is in my head 🥴 hoping it's in one of these bands
I dont know who started but I know who play it best 😏....THEE JSU !!

Support Hbcu Bands!
I was in the tenor section. This was my Sophomore year at BCU. I come to this song when I need God or to rejuvenate myself. Every time I sing or hear this song I get the chills. Praise God. Stay blessed everyone.
I love Cookman arrangement but JESUS CHRIST JACKSON ST. brought sooo much power
Where’s Howard? Clearly theirs is the best version as far as musicianship.
The most painful video to watch. #1 HUMAN JUKEBOX; #2 FAMU - I DON'T LIKE them just like I don't like plain rice, plain grits, or steak w/no seasoning. For sure they farmed this arrangement out. It was actually funky & had a groove - & last BCU. I can't believe that people liked it. It sounded like FAMU stole their arrangement & left them w/theirs. BCU sounded just like a DCI/PWI band; however, they SUNG it the best.
FAMU sounded a hot mess
Yep, no one can hold a candle to FAM
uapb has the best
SCState took it by far!
Jukebox and JSU best arrangements
Ocean of soul!! 🌊🌊🌊
howard should have been included
There should only be HBCU music everything else is a borefest
Jsu and su got this neck period but jsu plays it better over all to me 💪💪💨💨💨💪💪💪
RIP PERCUSSIONISTS!!!!
Suck
These are the wrong intervals!
My top 5 plus a sleeper!! Bethune Cookman Famu Jsu Norfolk State Scsu Sleeper: Howard!!!
Uapb and Grambling the 2 best are missing.....
