Cycles is a studio album by American singer Frank Sinatra, released in 1968. Released just before Christmas in 1968, there was a ten-month gap between the release of Francis A. & Edward K. and this album, which was the longest period in Sinatra's Reprise years in which he did not commercially record music (barring his contributions to The Sinatra Family Wish You a Merry Christmas). Your wife’s reaction when you told her it hurts your heart To hear this song and she’s just like, “…ok” lol😂 She has no idea at this point how incredibly beautiful this song is or why it would impact you so much. I find it funny is all not trying to be an a**hole, I just thought her response was funny.

      This is honestly so funny! And I think you are the first one who really noticed. It's actually an ongoing thing that we always laughed at when I start editing the video and we noticed what we say about the song. My husband's always the one so deep, so emotional and very philosophical, while on the other hand, I would just say something so shallow! haha~ Thank you for noticing that, we both find it so funny too! lol! -honey

    Hi Honey and Brown. Very nice song. I never heard this before - thanks for sharing it. 🥰🥰The instrumental is awesome and yes as you say sounds atmospheric. Loved the vocals , the lyrics and the feelings they give... the words "Leave love out of it" are so intense... I can see why you guys love it. I kind of get vibes of another group, ColdPlay, but I know their sound is much different still this song and the music gave me vibes of ColdPlay's "Paradise". Thank you for sharing a different artist to me. Will look for more of The Broken View and their music. Thanks again and God bless you two and little Moonwalker. 🥰🥰🥰♥♥♥🙏🙏🙏

You should definitely check out more songs by them! We'll be doing more discussions about this band in the future. Another great song by them is "Something Better." Which is their most known song. Thank you so much for checking out this video and leaving a comment. 😊 We truly appreciate you 🙏 I know we say that a lot to you... but we truly and genuinely mean it!

    Hi Honey & Brown. How are you guys. Wow this is awesome that you are reacting to Frank Sinatra - the "crooner" or "Old Blue Eyes" as they called him . I just love it. ♥♥♥One of my favorite of his is "Fly Me To The Moon" and many others, "Strangers In The Night", New York, New York", "Come Fly With Me" and of course "My Way" among them. I love the song you chose to react to "Cycles" - a song from his later career - I don't remember the song so its a nice reminder - Sinatra was such a talented singer, dancer actor - you guys have to check out the MGM musicals he appeared in. 🥰🥰🥰 Two of my favorites are "Anchors Aweigh" and "Guys and Dolls" and "High Society"... But his singing was so good from the start. Frank had been singing on radio since 1939 - I'm not from that era of course - but I have a collection of his music on my pc - and its so wonderful when you want to feel mellow -- his voice is like silk and listening to him sing is like heaven. After Sinatra started in motion pictures the level of his singing had you mesmorized with "that signature sound" along with the visual - his lean figure and young beautiful face and blue eyes... young girls would swoon and cry out "oh Frankie" ... Anyway thanks again for adding his music to your reactions. I really look forward to more of his songs. Hope you guys and little Moonwalker are doing well. Have a lovely weekend and God bless you all ♥♥♥🙏🙏🙏

I hope you've been well this past year, it's really been so long! And those sound wonderful! I definitely cannot wait to listen more of Frank Sinatra's songs. To be honest, my husband would always play Frank to our son, especially when feeding him or for bedtime, I didn't really notice him at first. But now, after listening to "Cycles", I even love playing the album he made for our son! Once you discover him, you just can't go back! And I didn't know he got into acting as well! I definitely have to talk about that with my husband more and maybe we'll watch a movie he was in, my husband loves those old movies as well! And yeah, I can only imagine. Looking at his younger photos, you can tell all the ladies were on him. haha! But anyways, thank you so much for always checking in on us. You are such a wonderful soul and we appreciate you so much! This is great and I can’t wait to see a performance! Siedah also wrote Michaels song ‘Keep the Faith’ and toured with him on the Dangerous world tour. You should both listen to the original version of this song with the spoken word intro (the song was changed years later after its release to be without it) because it’s even more sensual and delicate and you can hear MJ being really vulnerable in that moment and it’s really beautiful & imo it’s the best version of the song. Anyway thanks for sharing your reaction!

    Hi Honey & Brown. Love this reaction video. How funny to start it off with Chris Tucker's rendition of this song from Rush Hour movie. Chris always kicks with the wrong leg. Chris repeated the wrong move even during 30th Anniversary special when he joined MJ on stage toward the end of the show - Michael fell to the floor laughing. 😆😆😆 Thanks for bringing Off The Wall songs reactions. This album is the one that launched MJ's career as the greatest entertainer of all time. Yes this is the disco groove - everyone loved dancing to this and a lot of other MJ's songs in the discos - This album was a favorite of mine back then and still now sooo many years later - Michael's music and performances are so timeless.♥♥ I have a mix on my channel - please do check it out -- "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" from his early performance with his brothers in concert up to his later performances when he included an Off The Wall medley during the History Tour. I hope you guys enjoy it. You can tell MJ was enjoying it so much performing the song everytime. 🥰🥰 God bless you two and little Moonwalker -- I look forward to more of the Off The Wall songs reactions. Keep them coming ... Hi Honey & Brown. This is such a wonderful new segment - Vinyl Vibes. 🥰 Thanks so much for this song reaction. It brings me back to my childhood - listening to older sister's music collection - this song is such a classic and is timeless. To me I think it is "soulful" and so meaningful. 🥰🥰 Many artists have covered this song - the spiritual message is so moving. I may be wrong but I believe the show in which Ben E. King was performing could be the old American Bandstand because of the young teens dancing - I used to watch the program at a young age... I'm certain Michael Jackson also growing up watched and listened to his music too. How cute that this song was so soothing to Little Moonwalker - and how wonderful you have introduced the little one to MJ's music - of course Man In The Mirror - the soft sounding intro is soothing and welcoming to a baby's ears. 🎵🎵 🥰🥰 By the way I saw the "Stand By Me" movie too and love it that more than 30 years later this song was used in the soundtrack in a movie about children growing up experiencing life and tragedies together and the bond they kept. Thanks so much for this very interesting reaction video - its going to be great to watch you guys react to older classics. I'm sure a lot I may know and remember from my younger years. I look forward to watching Sinatra reaction - he is a classic to me - I love his music and movies. God bless you too and little Moonwalker. Wow almost a year already. Stay well and safe always. 🙏🙏🙏 ♥♥♥

    Hi Honey & Brown. God bless you two and little Moonwalker. It so good to see you guys back again. 🥰🥰🥰 Thanks so much for this reaction of "Rock With You". The song is one of the greatest hits of his solo album "Off The Wall" where Michael just broke out with the coolest disco songs - he injected new sounds and life into the disco era with "Off The Wall" ... dancing to MJ's music was so cool and fun. Michael thought his album was really going to make it big and win awards as it should have, however it did not get as much accolades and awards so feeling dissapointed, Michael set his next album goal that every track would be a hit. (Thriller) Michael was ready to sing songs with new sound - no longer the young teen Michael - he was 21 and ready to break out with what he wanted to write and create with his heart and soul. ♥♥ Guys, I have several videos for the Off The Wall era - if you catch them on my channel --check out the Rock With You performance mix and other mixes for other songs on the album. I mixed several eras of MJ performing "Rock With You" song live - My favorite is during the Bad era. 🥰🥰 Thanks again guys. Looking forward to more uploads - keep bringing more MJ corner - there is still so much Honey that you must see and experience. God bless and keep you both and little Moonwalker well. :-) :-) Michael Jackson is forever King of Pop and forever innocent :-) :-) ♥♥🙏🙏👑👑

    Hi @honey.brown.nerdrealm. Hey guys hope you and little moonwalker are doing well.🥰🥰🥰 Thanks so much for this reaction video. This is a beautiful romantic duet. ♥♥Michael actually did a rap for the intro of this song- very sexy - Honey, you have to listen to it. He said in an Ebony interview he was recording the rap while under the covers in a bed - that's how much he wanted to make the right feeling for this song. Siedah was a perfect duet partner - don't think Barbara and Whitney would have made it like it is - so sincere and sweet. Barbara and Whitney may have over sung over Michael. Michael wanted the partner to be singing to accompany and not overtake. Michael performed the song live during Bad Tour with Cheryl Crowe - but it did not sound like his recorded studio version - he signaled to Cheryl to tone down while singing on stage - but you know MJ was a perfectionist - even while performing live. You guys you have to show the live performances from Bad Tour Wembley and Dangerous Tour - my favorite is Buenos Aires - Siedah was on Dangerous tour and MJ was so happy performing with her - but she played a joke with a blonde wig in Buenos Aires - its hilarious watching Michael having a hard time to sing his part. - Thanks again guys and God bless you and your little moonwalker. there are more comments coming your way as I have been watching several of your recent uploads. Keep it up guys - so glad to see you back here :-) :-) We missed you :-) :-) Michael Jackson is forever King of Pop and forever innocent :-) :-) ♥♥👑👑🙏🙏

      My man! Always love seeing in the comments 😊 Yeah, with Whitney Houston... that would have shattered the world! But, in a way, I'm glad it went this way. Sometimes, having a feature on an artist who isn't as well-known adds more of a different dimension to the song. Either way, this song is so sublime and beautiful.

    Yo Brown, you need to show her live performances of this song; I recommend Wembley 1988 and Bremen 1992 performances. I'm confident she will enjoy them, and you already know how epic his performances are, so I don't need to hype them up 🤷‍♂️ PS: Siedah Garrett didn’t performed with Michael until the Dangerous Tour; during Bad Tour, she was too busy with her solo studio album, thus she didn't have the opportunity to perform with MJ on the Bad Tour. As a result, Michael performed live with Sheryl Crow (singer/back vocalist) on the Bad Tour. However, Siedah Garrett was there throughout the whole Dangerous Tour.

    • @raspberryripple88
      @raspberryripple88 7 дней назад

      @@honey.brown.nerdrealm I think it actually was included originally, for the initial release of the song i think, but then it got removed a few months later or something like that. I honestly dont know why cos I totally agree with you, it adds so much and I love it. In fact most comments I see from MJ fans (particularly women lol) all say they love it too and wish it was still on the original. As a result, I have both versions lol 😀

    I, perhaps like most people, love Frank's classic period of him doing standards. "Come Fly With Me", "I've Got You Under My Skin", "Luck Be A Lady", "I Got The World On A String", "The Way You Look Tonight", "Blue Moon", "You Make Me Feel So Young", "Fly Me To The Mood", my personal favorite "Summer Wind", and of course, "My Way". Also Frank doing "A Christmas Waltz" is one of my favorite Christmas songs of all time.

    Man... this man was the most famous star, had all the money in the world and still all he wanted was his childhood, he was so damaged, spent his life trying to recreate it and make up for his lost childhood, makes you wonder if it was actually worth the pain and suffering, he did not have a childhood at all, working since 5 is not a childhood, and if you know the extent of how his father treated him.. just shows the importance of showing love and affection and let them be kids and play, which his father never did, you know people will try make excuses and justify it in whatever way they want, but NO child should be treated the way he was, he would get beat brutally for messing up a single dance step, he wouldn't ever allow his children to call him dad or daddy only Joseph, I guess he was never a father anyway, according to Michael he once told him when he was little "if you ever stop singing I'll drop you like a hot potato", what kind of father says that to his child?? I just don't understand how there are people who defend him and say he was "a great father". There is a letter Michael wrote to Bill Bray, his longtime security guard, saying that his father only saw him as "a way to make money", his words, thanking him for being a father to him, think about it, his security guard was more of a father than his own father ever was... it's sad man, rest in peace Michael, at least he showed and treated his kids with all the love and respect always. He did say he forgave his father but it's clear they were never close and the damage he caused affected him his whole life, the fact that he left nothing to his father on his will (he wasn't even included) and only to his children, mother and charity says a lot, and honestly I would do the same. And you know what makes me angry? Just 3 days after Michael died he had the audacity to promote his new label, all arrogant with no emotion talking like "yeah we lost the biggest superstar" and not his son. Please react to Michael private phone calls, you will know more about him from his own mouth, he didn't know he was being recorded, it feels kind of intrusive to listen to but I think people should listen to it to get to know more about him, it shows his human side
