You’re lucky it didn’t slip off the jack stands when you put the clutch in your start it.
What clips did u use for the pads. I did mine with out clips and I notice you had clips clicking into the pads. I have grinding and it gets stuck in reverse and there’s a clunk.
We just reused the clips that were already on it, since I'm pretty sure the new pads did not come with new clips

did you have to shave part of the bumper grille for the intercooler to fit ?
yes, the grille was cut out and placed further out/forward from the previous intercooler
i have a similar setup to yours with the 3582 b16, what is your spool time or what rpm does boost start to actually build
What size pistons? And did you machine the block? This is my first time putting forged parts in
87mm bore pistons. We did not machine the block, it was pretty amazing not having to since this was pulled from the junkyard
Love the videos! I have my eye on a 2012 tsx with the k24z3. What ecu/tuning are you planning on running once you get the turbo in? It's tough to find z3 turbo content anywhere

Will this be compatible with a honda del sol front knuckle?
Depends on which model. The s and si won't work since it comes with the 9" rotor setup like the dx civic. If it's the VTEC model it should work since it has the same knuckle setup like the ex civic and integra.

Hi i have a question : can i remplace k24z3 with k24a2 Will there be a problem reading the sensor of position crank?
what do you mean by replace? Like a drop in swap? The crank sensor is different and the exhuast cam pulse plate is different too.
@@Toonpiston so there is no solution
@@TuningCar0 go to kpower, they have a front plate with crank sensor conversion, and instructions on what to do about the cam pulse to get a k24z3 to work with the older k series harness, for a swap car I will say for sure. But for a drop in it may work, no gurantees 🤷♂. You will also have to take into account of the oil filter location and that a mounting point of the half shaft will need to be cut and only use two of the 3 holes.

Nice. That csf radiator working like a normal radiator with a high tempeture? I have my eg with a dalton sleeves and my tempeture is going high to fast, and the Space that i have in my car is si little to put a normal radiator so that why i am asking you bro.
@@joseanmendez912 I am assuming you are turbo since you are sleeved. I saw a vid about radiator and intercooler spacing and how air will escape in least restrictive path, and that you want it close as possible without toucing. In the vid when we first had it installed it was tilted back pretty far letting the air coming from the intercooler escape in all directions and not going through the radiator. At the end of the video we changed the mount so it's not leaned back. Our civic could do better in cooling but it's not something we have focused on unless the current set up doesn't continue to hold. Depends on your set up and what you wanna do to get air through the radiator. A great example is the speedfactory intercooler and tucked radiator combo, where the radiator is practically mounted face to face.

@@Boom_Pinoy.Gaming It sounds great, its loud enough for me and you get some pops and bangs. I have't had any issues with cops pulling me over for it. It's not Tomei loud but enough for your neighbors to hear. I would say the get the Q300 if tyou wanna keep it down or something else that has larger mufflers than the R400.

This will be cheaper, I'm not paying 1k a single pipe when we can make it ourselves. If it was a 4 port turbo manifold I would buy one since that's more dificult to make.

nah it's been slow, just gotta get a clutch and then we'll start making the manifold
or you can just do integra 94-01 RS/LS/GSR front brake coversion with their dual diaphram booster and master cylinder 15/16 with 40/40 prop valve.. closest to type R set up and a abs delete.. it works for me.
Went with the CRV since they have the same caliper as the Type R and use the same rotor size

@@Toonpiston yeah until It's too late ,in certain parts of Asia these Coupes are super expensive. The Black EJ1 coupes had way more screen time than Hectors green hatch even the Kid playing video games during the first race was in a white Coupe🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🏎️🔰
I heard the Coupe shape is more Aerodynamic than the hatch shape but I'm not sure though how true it seems to make sense. This Dude I met at a meet ( he had a 9 sec drag racing hatch) told me the reason you don't see Coupes anymore is because they're all on drag racing duty sitting in someone's garage..I don't believe that though I think a lot of them are in the junk yard 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️

Depends, get a head with vtec on both sides if you are staying NA and want the most out of it. If you're going turbo either one works but, there's less support for the K24Z3 head, especially cams.

They are the ISC N1 V2 part #: S020-S. They feel pretty good, I didn't feel much until you really put some load on it in turns and bumps.
Is there a big difference on the breaks? Stopping power? Etc.. and I been trying to get slotted versions and no luck
I haven't done a good test on the brakes because of the wheel fitment and overall condition and where it's at. Once the car is in suitable condition with my set of wheels and tires on I might test it but, it should stop better than an ex model, and A LOT more than a dx model. This car most likely will not see the streets much until the build is done tho. I see a few slotted and drilled jus looking with the correct lug pattern and 280mm size, and they say it fits mini coopers from 07-15, so it might fit.
EBC makes just slotted rotors

I got an eBay intercooler from my kit pushing closer to 30psi is there a difference in the sf intercooler ? 🧐
The ebay intercooler couldn't push more than 30psi. We went bigger to be able to do that. We'll get the car dynoed sometime to see some results.

No there was not any off feel. It felt great, at first it felt like stock until you really put load into it and feel the difference. For even height just measure and adjust until it's right. If you want to be precise, use a micrometer.

No tune needed because nothing that significantly changes how the engine breathes was changed

Yea, even with the coild set 1.5 in lower than stock, when the car was back on the ground it seemed almost the same as if it was lowered just a tiny bit. It will have to be a pretty big drop if you want the fender close to the tire. Even with the lip i put on I am no where near the ground..

It's painted to give it a uniform look. The plain polyurethane looked a bit off. 🤷♂️

Couple little tips You can grind down the fromt of the caliper to make it fit better for your offset. Steel brake lines and upgrading the MC to a bigger one will really bring the brakes alive

You think a 2018 is worth to buy now or just spend extra for a VB?
I would say it would be what engine you want and body style. The STI is pretty much gone with the EJ motor, so if you want the last of it, get a VA STI. The VA WRX has proven itself with the FA20. If you like the new engine and want "easy power" because of direct injection + high compression ratio of 10.6 : 1 + e85, the VB WRX is the choice with the new 2.4L engine. You can't go wrong with either choice, VA WRX with some money on the side, STI for the EJ, VB for the torque monster.
