A HITCHCOCK MOMENT
Просмотров 61614 лет назад
Why after 50 films, this moment from THE BIRDS, shows that Hitchcock was a true master of film, because he not only understood but continued to perfect the visual language of film and created little visual miracles like this one that still work today. (THE BIRDS is available on Universal Home Video DVD)

What happens when something uncovered in the Earth's crust suggests an alien ship crashed here eons ago and was maybe even the asterioid that destroyed the dinosaurs?

You broke my heart in two... now I can't find the duct tape to put it together for you!
I had to look this song lyric up, because... WHAT DOES IT MEAN!?!?! It appears to be a song they made up for the film.
I know what you did, you sick bastard
Not gonna lie, I've been watching these deleted scenes and I really think they all could have matched the final cut perfectly
we have the control over this moment ,we don't have the control over past or future so really we have to avoid past and future to do a job perfectly.
É sensacional o ensinamento desse filme, e essa parte realmente é incrível. Faz a gente entender profundamente.
Humans suck

🙏💯
Actually, the first one to teach this Wisdom from the East, in contemporary times, was "J. Krishnamurti". He said the same things, literally the same words, for 70 years, up to his death in 1985. He was the most profound Spiritual mind, of the 1900's...and the world has already forgotten him. Ram Dass actually borrowed his concepts related, all those 70 years from the 1920s, on....
how come this scene was deleted from the movie? what a great scene
*0:32** That scene is scary. Ymir got tired of receiving so much pain, and angrily fought back the farmer.*
Salva script... :)
We are all Ymir
QFT
ymir suck godzilla no suck why godzilla can be tude can be nice and ymir is destrying everything means ymir is evil like me :) just kidding lol
Can't help but feel sorry for Ymir. He didn't want hurt nobody until these guys started to hurt and torture him.
Ice bear love it
What did HarryHausen say about his Humanoid Reptilian Creature the Ymir again? Oh yeah. “He wasn’t really aggressive, until the Dog & the Farmer became aggressive to him. 0:38 & he finally got quite vicious because he was tortured & tormented by man. The poor boy was just a helpless soul out of his environment.”
So, let me get this straight - they had guns the entire time but decided to hit him with shovels and poke him with a stick for about 30 seconds.
Whats more the stick knocked it down more than the guns

i wish i have that gargoyles creatures as a pet that one is so cute
We don't know where we are, all we think we know is that we're here
poor thing was trying to get away but they traped it and it and it got scared and attack
He just wanted to be our buddy...
Man, the Ymir went after the farmer like a black man pouncing on an unsuspecting box of Popeye's!
He's scared and does not want to hurt Noone. But the people are abusing him making him very mad.
I used this logic to get home from work. I ended up at a Dennys telling the waiter it was a waste of time knowing where I was. He looked at me dead in the eyes and said: "Sir, it's 2 a.m and this is not a Dennys, this is your father in your house and I don't care if you're drunk, go to bed before mom wakes up."
i want one of those as a pet
fake and gay
Trash like you wouldn't understand.
poor ymir, you can tell it is just a scared animal. the naturally docile Ymir who had never encountered a human being before, turned violent due to its constant traumatic experiences.
I felt bad for the Ymir throughout the entire movie. The farmer deserved to be attacked for stabbing it with a pitchfork
lmfao they just left the guy in the barn
This thing has a mustache
Is this a real song?
This happened because they didn't build a HUGE wall to prevent this illegal alien from taking over the farmer's job.
LOL!!
Ironically, this time the alien was BROUGHT here!
Poor Ymir being bullied by the humans. No shoulder to cry on...so the Ymir took a bite instead.

The trash is anything that is keeping you from the only thing that matters- this moment

this is awesome, I love this movie!
First one to teach this in the West was Ram Dass, who learned it from his guru in India, Neem Keroli Baba. It was even the title of his wonderful, breakthrough book, "Be Here Now."

Great scene, great movie.
Oh yeah? well, i can do that while holding you doing that while you are holding me..holding my beer..which is your beer...actually...yeah, I don't think I can do that.
I can do that while holding you, while you hold my beer.
I can do that while holding your beer.
I can do that, hold my beer
Don't poke the Ymir.
The best way I can interpret this scene is that Dan focused on the past so much, he forgot he's not in that moment anymore and also forgot to remove his emotions before making any judgements
Yes, I noticed, from reading older books.. You would think hearing Tolle and Wayne Dyer in the way they speak is that they created this new way off teaching..
