I'm about to pick the game in a roll20.net, seems pretty old school and complicated... what turned me down was the image of a chubby cleric with cross and all in my RPG. Thanks for the videos.

Wait! That unit was from the 90s. I had the thing in the late 80s. I had asked for the table top Pac-Man & got that instead, but it was alright. I did play with it; it kept me entertained in the car when I didn't want to read. I wish I knew what happened to it now.

How can someone rip on a kids game that came out in the late 80s? I played with this thing for hundreds and hundreds of hours.

I still have our kids; Pre-computer. The gadget is huge, but the screen you play on is super TINY!

I still have our original computerized arcade! Still works! Our kids played with it for many hours when they were kids! Mostly Repeat Plus....

Dear everyone: You don't put group cards in your hand... Unless you were playing the INWO collectable card game which used pretty much the same ruleset as "Illuminati". This was five years ago during the "Internet reviewer Boom" and frankly I can't see anyone using this as a guideline to actually play the game, and they shouldn't. It's a fun game, get a copy, read the actual rules, get the rare and expensive expansions, but for the love of god MAKE SURE THE UNCONTROLLED GROUPS ARE FACE UP AVAILABLE FOR ANYONE TO TAKE OVER ON THEIR TURN! Now then, back to explaining how this game is linked to the end times. That amuses me, continue.

This game is haunted! Don't believe me? Look at the terrorist nuke card and pentagon card. They both predicted 9/11 so accurately.......

I've been playing this game for years now and to clarify, group cards are NOT put into your hand. From the Illuminati rule book, sequence of play: "2. Draw a card. If the card is a Group, it is placed face-up in the center of the table, with the other uncontrolled Groups." Glad to see people are still interested in playing this game, I've introduced it to almost every and insanity always ensues!!

Its just a card game to play with your buddies if you think about it (which you lot haven't) its a very complicated thinking persons poker because like poker you're out to beat your friends and as for the idea that the Illuminati is trying to takeover humanity, you lot need to lay off the pot

Played the game, not bad, doesn't relate to history. People say that the cards predicted the future. It really doesn't, the cards are events and disasters that you know will happen. For an example, A card says Bank Corrupt... well of course the bank will corrupt. Not convinced? one card says Volcano Eruption, yes a volcano will erupt. And the "Obama Card", it showed a black guy in a suit and people immediately thought it was a prediction of Obama. Why cant it just be a black guy in a suit? Why because hes black and in a suit it means he must be president?

Attak, I had the exact same thoughts towards the scoring system! "Easy and quick to set up! One Star" ..wait.. that's a bad thing? Heh.. And.. as far as the Dragon Tile goes, you'd know what it did, if you flipped open that rule booklet you liked and read through it. =p It's for when you run out of tiles, marking the person who is the first to get tiles from players that get removed form the game.

I just picked one of these up on Freecycle. Your box looks downright modern compared to mine. Any idea what year the one you have was released?

Where can I find actual tutorials on this? Seems like a clever game, although some fucking dumb people think it's real shit.
