Thanks for your question. Yes, the San José Fire Department was part of a Strike Team and Task Force that was sent to Los Angeles to fight the Eaton Fire in January.

I was in the very first class to move into that building in 1973. 6th grade.
How did the building look like inside back then?
It was cool. I had never been in a class room that didn’t have walls separating other classes. It was April and a little warm, but as soon as we stepped inside, the air conditioner had cooled the entire inside. The other classes were quiet enough. I guess the wall to wall carpeting helped with keeping the sound low. We spent the last 2 1/2 months of the school year in that building.

Well played graduate of trace elementary class of 1998. Also i seen you had engine 16 at the scene as well. That engine is down the street frm my pad in the eastside must have been extremely big to bring them all the way out west
