@@sarvodaydutta1905 No, the RVNL has not acquire full land yet. The pillars are almost completed near Jatragachi flyover and they said that they are trying to lauch the girders in mid January 2025. Two girders are yet to be launched at Mother's wax museum station.

@@joymukherjee1136 Sealdah to Santragachi Emu services if started then local trains will take around 2 hr. Because the Dum Dum- Bally halt route had only 2 tracks for handling the huge traffic. Trains have to wait for a long time. And distance will be around 28 km. Howrah metro extension upto Santragachi will be more convenient.

@currentlynourl I know but a new route will be opened for us also some north bengal bound trains can be diverted via Naihati, Bardwan or Ranaghat, Murshidabad, so traffic will be reduced via Bally Ghat route easily. Also it Santragachi can be reached with a minimum cost by local trains.
