he talked about circadian rhythms - i take nuvigil for wakefulness and entumin(quarter of a pill) for sleeping hope this helps anyone ❤
.
I have bipolar 1, I take a mood stabilizer that works well, but something that I've started to notice in recent years is that I sometimes get what feels like a hypomanic rush but it only lasts for a few minutes. It's random because when I had severe manic episodes it lasted for many weeks. It's not a problem it's just quite random because it seems to go against the textbook.
cyclical episodes maybe?
Believe in Jesus Christ and you will have Everlasting Life, to believe in someone, you are convinced that they are true. If you Believe in Jesus Christ, you will be Saved by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in Jesus Christ Alone, John 3:16, KJV. Once you are Saved, you are always Saved, John 6:37, KJV....

Yes, I am an educated normal person with a daughter in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia with Bipolar Disorder. I never knew anything about this disorder until I started reading about it. I was frantic to understand why my daughter was acting and talking so strange and her feeling chronically depressed and with anxiety. And then the strange highs of mania and being very creative and yet she is incapable of holding a job as a normal person. My reason for writing this is because I am a frantic father that is trying to make some sort of logical sense of everything with my daughter. And the pushing me out of her life. So when I watch this man speak , it irritates me to the point of no return when people that are educated at university just ramble on and on with their jargon and can't just explain in layman's terms about bipolar without dragging on and on with what seems like incoherent bullshit. I hate the the way doctors and educated nerds just can't be very blunt and straight to the point. It's like, I am sitting here listening to this guy speak but he is not giving me any definitive answers of how I can understand what is happening with my daughter. These educated intellectuals just seem seem to babble on and on and there speech on the subject just gets so fu$%king tedious. I just hate the the way educated people speak. I just want the facts and how to deal with this disorder, not some hour long drawn load of medical bullshit about it.
Sorry you are dealing with this. I highly recommend that you check out Dr. Patrick McKeon's lectures here on RUclips. He is an Irish psychiatrist who seems to specialize in bipolar. He is an excellent speaker, has a nice voice and his lectures are geared toward the layman.
s lectures are for professional audience
In addition to McKeon, there's Huberman (episode #82) and, also on youtube, Dr Todd Grande (playlist of 7 short videos on Bipolar Disorder).
Vaccines are poison.
There have been a few arrogant Dr.’s try to diagnose my conditions but it gets aggravating when they start down the wrong road from the beginning. We need better doctors.

Did you say 23hrs/day figuratively or literally? How much sleep do u need per day!? I need a minimum of 10hrs to feel ok otherwise I feel sick
It's not genetics
i think bipolar disorder is mainly about certain people have not realized they have been brainwashed by their governments. it doesn't take a doctor to tell people about real life. then when they the patients realize this they are diagnosed as bipolar. most bipolar people live in denial and nativity. what i am saying most of these doctors are "pissing in the wind". they haven't a clue regarding mental illness
No disrespect but your post is bs opinion. You seem to know nothing about Bi polar or doctors. If you really care about metal illness you will do the research. You seem very delusional. One symptom of mental illness.
It looks like "you" also do not have a clue about mental illness... A person in mania is far from being negative. They are creative, full of positivity, begin to set new goals and they look at life from a positive perspective. They will also excel within a work-place or grades within a education setting will start to rise. Mania is fuled increased energy and many state that during this intense period of energy it becomes like a feeling of sharp intelligence (constant awarness of all solutions). As for "not knowing the government has brain washed them" Well many who hit mania will eventually look above reality as more and more energy increases meaning they usually dive into in-depth research regarding spiritual aspects like: "the government are brain-washing everyone". Many also after years of living with this illiness/disorder and after reaching breaking point begin to do their own medical research to then approach a medical profession to tell them of their own findings so it is not always the doctor who gives the diagnosis. Many also have input into their own care plan and can/will decide on medications or if to take a holistic approach. If you are trying to kill yourself or harm another person then yes doctors will call the shots until you can prove that you are level-headed. Many doctors "do" know what they are taking about. You may have experienced a so-called "bad experience" with a doctor/doctors however you can not place "all" within the same field. It's like the woman who states "all men cheat" just because their husband/partner cheated on them or had an affair... it's a foolish and a narrow-minded view point. Mania is a spectrum level - 1 to 10 meaning 1 to 5 they are fully present within their reality...

Excuse me. National Alliance is supported by the Drug companies. This is Fact The DSM Is not science The DSM came about by a vote of Hands There is no Mental Illness .Yes we have experiences that make us not feel good at Times Like the Lost of a Love etc..This is not Depression this is Real Life experiences It is not a Disorder or Disease I am not a Sciencetologist However I am Fully align with there stance on the Psychartic Industry .I bid each of you to watch The Marketing of Big Pharmaceutical And see the Truth for yourself
Brad Clevinger shut the fuck up you ignorant buffoon

You’re delusional
That is the bs propaganda that has kept me sick and destroyed my life for years. It is real illness!
Very hurtful and obnoxious thing to say to people suffering from bipolar disorder. Thankfully, most will view you as a low-IQ crank.
One thing I've asked about that none of the psychiatrists know about is the really pleasant brain tingling I get when I'm euphoric, music always makes me feel amazing and so tingly it's awesome too
Though I'm not sure if this is part of bipolar or something different, though it's helped me get through life, and live still now
Paul Flint I think it might be part of bipolar. I have bipolar 1 and I really loved that feeling when I was manic. Actually ever since the manic episode, I still get tingles or rushes of energy, but it gets stuck in my root or sacral chakra, rather than going all the way up through the crown. Also, did colors become brighter and everything get sparkly? That was my experience.
I get those tingles too, especially while listening to emotional music. I think it's called ASMR, but I don't know if it's related to bipolar or not.
I've never had that. maybe it is an ASMR thing.
we can go high without reaching mania. in hebrew we call it to ascent.
I wonder if bipolars can also be sensitive to endorphines? As a bipolar myself I notice that sometimes after I exercise I get into a hypomanic state, thus not just the pleasant energy you usually get after a nice jog.
mental illness is inflamation in the blood or mucus caused by unnatural diet, what do think!
Yeah I have the same thing. I try not to exercise past 8pm now which helps and I force myself not to exercise for more than a 1hour and 30mins
Wow it happens to me a LOT

Thanks I have been diagnosed as Schizophrenic the bipolar in 2008 as I had a very severe manic episode, now my psychiatrist says I have Schizoaffective disorder , I know that myself it is Bipolar 1 disorder, I have had severe depression with psychosis, and one manic episode I was hospitalised for in 2008 I believed I could control where the birds flew in the sky and I could send my feelings of love into animals etc. I thought I was Jesus and sometimes thought the end of the world was coming soon, I also thought I was evil sometimes it was a crazy year, since then I've suffered terrible anxiety attacks nd depression, been suicidal to the point of despair, I'm better now thanks . Glad to see this video
I was well now I'm manic again, it's getting worse all of the time, thanks Ryeable
