I'm a 21 year old Australian who creates a variety of digital content.
This channel features a variety of content including music productions, tutorials, timelapses, and short films.
Towards music, I do not have a specific genre as I am creating all kinds of music, but I am known for my heavy use of effects giving a very unique style to the pieces I create.
I have yet to create many tutorials, but I am hoping for this channel to contain a lot more in the future.
I own GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition and Canon EOS 600D camera's and use these primarily for my timelapse productions.
Most of my channel is comprised of both music and timelapses.
I have created a short film which entered into a local film festival, but I did not have the editing or film production skills that I now possess and thus the film lacks many important film techniques. I hope to make more short films in the future if time ever permits.

Minecraft 1.6.4 Highway Install Guide
This is an updated tutorial video on how to install my Minecraft 1.6.4 Highway world. The world is heavily reliant on mods and therefore cannot be used on any other version of Minecraft. This video provides a set of instructions on the easiest way to install this world onto your system.
Due to inefficiencies in both the 1.6.4 mods this world relies on and the very old 1.6.4 version of Minecraft - you will likely need a high-end system to run this world. Even with a high-end system, you will still encounter many glitches and lag spikes due to these inefficiencies. At bare minimum 3GB of RAM/memory must be allocated to Minecraft to run. A system with 8GBof RAM, would thereby be the minimum r...

Timelapse video captured using GoPro Hero 9 of Bike Ride from Ballina, NSW to near Skennars Head NSW. Captures the trip to and from and is approximately a 21 KM round trip. Unfortunately I failed to realise how dark it was getting and without a bike light, it is almost pitch black in sections on the return journey. (Will need to purchase one next time! Or ride a bit earlier in the day). Mostly ...

A GoPro Driving Test using the inbuilt timelapse feature of the GoPro. A photo was taken every 5 seconds and then edited and exported using the GoPro Studio Software. In terms of how fluid the film looks,...

This is not a interstate it is more like a us
I Love your map!
Amazing work, especially for 2014, kelp does not exist till 2018.
Dude wrong lane your on th lane that goes backwards
It's Australia
That route has changed now and will change even more when the whole Highway is upgraded in 2020.
This is not USA. Why: The way you are going upward ^ is the right side, not the left. The left side would be for when you go back.
Yep, this is Australia and we drive on the left side of the road like the UK.
I thought you go north. But you go south, make two lefts, and go through a tunnel!
make even more cool And actually I can make WW2 scenes for better look of my mc

wow that was cool me Khallil portis minecraft
What mod did you use for the vehicles?
Flans Mod. Link is in description. Cheers
Cool roads
Is there any freeways???
A
Sort of, but there not very long before it goes back to A class standard roads. You can see them designated by the M class road names.
Why is there vines under the water?
Not too sure, I might have added water manually in some places so it doesn't always fit.
the moment when you have no life
how can it that you normal word in flat world have? 7:30
From memory I used NBTExplorer to manually change from superflat to default world for all new chunks generated. Main reason is I found superflat could get a bit boring with the road design/scenery. Not ideal however as you are in a massive hole in a sense with the land to the left and right of the superflat section being hundreds of blocks higher. Still it seems to work okay.
+Daniel Gimbert I go check it out for the Version 1.7.10! :) I have made roads on minecraft check my channel:)
make a timelapse 3! its so cool!;)
I will make one of these soon. It's changed heaps since I last made this video. Just need to find time around full time work. I was also planning to make tutorials on how to create some of these designs, so people can make their own roads/highways, but that probably won't happen for a little while. Thanks for commenting! :)
Sub to you!
If you do any more of these one day try 60fps, it will be even smoother but ensure you double the speed at which photos are taken.
+AstralPhaser Oh do you mean like render in 60fps? From memory this was actually a video recording the whole time but it may have only been recording at 24 or 30fps. But yeah I can definitely notice the difference on lower frame rates. The GoPRO can record in 60fps though, so I might try that one day for a timelapse
+AstralPhaser The macroblocking on the shadows in the film is also really annoying cos RUclips compresses the blacks a lot but not much you can do other than render it in as high quality as possible. it may also be the motion blur I added to the film though.
Yea, that would be awesome. You gotta make sure that if your old settings were taking a photo every second you should move it to half a second as now double as many frames will be played at once. In other words make it take photos faster in order to preserve the current driving speed while just making it smoother to watch due to extra frames. Lol, I suck at explaining stuff...
Lol it's me! (I'm Philip Adams. Daniel and I did this for a school project)
+AstralPhaser Wow I had completely forgotten about this video hahah!
can i have your map please
+Neiljames Bartolay Yeah sure thing, check out my tutorial for the map download and how to get it up and running here: ruclips.net/video/YXl0i4hyptQ/видео.html

This is so awasome man you should have more than 8k views it should be like 8mil
IP?
Are those couple of rest areas and weigh stations?
+Blanding Cassatt Yeah, there is one rest area in this video where I stopped for a little while but still haven't finished marking it. Map could probably do with a few more rest areas; maybe some service stations too. I never thought of putting in weight stations but that might be a nice addition to the map. Thanks for commenting!
How long to take to build this road?
Been building the road over a few years, just gradually adding to it in my free time. I haven't done it all by hand, mods like world edit, single player commands and mcedit have saved a lot of time. Thanks for commenting!
Nice road!!
ass
@Michael Harper I'm not sure of the songs sorry. I did this video quite a while back. I only know one song which I've listed below. I'll let you know if I find any other songs; they're all creative commons songs so I imagine I found them searching for "progressive house creative commons" etc. 10:12 - 13:34 - Eductrix - Latency
Thanks for the information.
boo no link
Music?
Thats cool i like this video
Thanks, Glad you liked it :)
Could you make a download for this map? I REALLY(REALLY REALLY)want to look in it
Sure thing, however for copyright and ownership reasons I cannot supply the mods, The map is also a fairly big file, from memory it is around a gigabyte, but I could easy put that onto a file sharing service and supply a download link. As it is such a big map, the mod single player commands is a must. SPC allows you to set a custom flying speed so that you can fly around the map really quickly, I like to set it to a speed that emulates about 100km/h to give a realistic idea of driving. Also you will need an at least semi-powerful computer to run it as there's so many mods and it's such a big map, but give it a go either way. I'll make a tutorial video for how to get this map up and running as I think that would be the best way to get all the mods and settings correct. Don't worry it won't overwrite your existing minecraft as I use multimc to manage it. Thanks for commenting! I'll try and have a tutorial up soon :)
I have a 1TB hard drive with 600 gigabytes left. My computer can handle mods and I'm sure it will work. Thanks!
Alexander Gamer Hey Alexander, Just letting you know that I've now created the tutorial video of how to get this map up and running. Hopefully it's easy enough to follow, it's my first video of that kind but let me know if you have any issues with it. Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/YXl0i4hyptQ/видео.html You can also probably find it as the latest video on my Channel. Thanks, Daniel.
@@gimbo174 I'm so sorry for this, this video is totally private, you cannot watch the video!
@_ Akosjun Those are just custom Minecraft paintings. Easiest way to create your own paintings would be to download the paintings++ mod. Simply place that mod in your %appdata%/.minecraft/mods folder. You can do this easily by pressing the windows+r keys together to open a run prompt and then copying and pasting that path above and pressing OK. Once you've done that, you will need to edit an art file to add your own paintings. You can do this by opening the newly placed paintings++ zip archive inside of the mods folder. Once open, navigate to the assets->subaraki->art folder. Then simply edit the gib.png file using a paint program and copy and paste your images into the spaces. Thanks for commenting!
How did you make those traffic signs?
WHAT is that soundtrack? It's nice.
Yeah it is a nice soundtrack :), songs as follows: 0:00 Believe Me (Glow Team Remix) which is a remix of the song Skrux ft. Complexion - Believe Me, 4:20 We Are Electric (Eliminate Remix) which is a remix of DVBBS ft Simon Wilcox - We Are Electric Basically the remix versions are a bit different and a slightly faster tempo, but the originals are nice too. I recall this being part of a compilation or melodic dubstep mix or something like that as well, but can't seem to locate the original. Thanks for commenting!
did you have to place every block...
You do have to place each block individually if you're working without additional mods. However you can use world edit (there's a single player version too) to stack, copy or set bits of road you've designed which drastically speeds up workflow. If I had done this all by hand it would have taken a very long time as it's about 40KM in length. The road lines aren't a separate block. They are actually painted onto any block of your choice. Which means you can paint it onto stone, road block, or even grass to create a sports field for instance. There's also a quick line painter which speeds up the line painting process but I usually just use the stack command of world edit. Thanks for commenting!
thanks man! i would actually love it so much if you could make a tutorial on how to use world edit.
No worries at all. Yeah I was actually planning to do a tutorial for this mod anyway so I could explain all the world edit commands in there. I might not be able to do it for a few days because of college but will try make it when I have a free day :)
sounds awesome. take your time!
Great job dan, apart from the moments during sunset where there were indoor reflections this was a perfect timelapse.
Hey Phil, thanks a lot! Yeah i initially had it suctioned cup to the sliding door but it didn't work so well during the night so I moved it outside (luckily no rain :P), and it worked much better. I might try and do this again though without the suction cup to see if that looks better but yeah this one still came out really well which is surprising for just a GoPro camera haha. I really love the sunset on film though, so would definitely like to record a sunset some time in the future.
I love those clouds in the sky changing as you drive. Looks like you ended up getting into time lapses just like when I used to :)
Haha yeah, they're a lot of fun. Speaking of clouds, I'd honestly like to one day when it's cloudy just take a timelapse of the clouds for a day. But I dunno it might be a little bit boring. Perhaps if it's for the full day and it goes to night as well it might be good. I'd also like to do a time lapse of just cars on the highway/nearby road just from a single position like not while driving, I think that would look cool too. But yeah I guess it's a hobby I've gotten into and enjoy haha which is good :P
4K! NOW!
Did you charge the gopro or how did you do it without it dying? :P
Yeah, I had the GoPro connected via an iPhone wall charger and a long cable. I had it in a special skeleton case that is like the full waterproof case except it has the charger and HDMI port open for charging/viewing on TV. Here's the one I bought: is.gd/NEwDVn There might be an official GoPro one available now but I dunno, this one seems to work pretty well regardless. Sadly not waterproof though so you need to make sure it's a good forecast. The benefit of this compared to the frame is that it still is mostly protected and I just feel safer not having the lens exposed like you would if you used the frame. Perhaps if you found a way to securely cover up the charging port once you have a cable connected, rain wouldn't be as much of a worry, but it's best to have it undercover or really be certain it won't rain. I kind of took a risk recording overnight haha, but the forecast said there was no rain and luckily there wasn't :P Thanks for commenting!
Camtasia I think, unfourtantly I don't beleive there's an inbuilt recorder which is a shame. But any desktop recorder should do the trick just fine. Recording desktop sound might be difficult with some programs or not supported. A trick around this is to plug in an audio cable from the speakers port to the microphone port. You won't hear it whilst it's recording but when you play back the file the audio should be there and in sync. You could also just export as audio and sync up on video editor.
what program you use to record Guitar Pro files as a video?
hey we have the same name!
Thanks:) Hahah yeah I probably could work more on the track levels. I have updated this one since then quite considerably but that problem still somewhat remains. The tracks mix in fairly well together but due to the amount of tracks I now have in this composition (not this video; the one I have on my channel: Strings Gleam Brightly), it's incredibly hard to get all the levels right. If I have some too loud they start clipping or distorting in sections. Thanks for commenting:)
I like the drums.. I feel they suit the music well. Maybe they shouldn't be so loud though.
nice illustration
Cont'd... In this example, I used NI Massive for the dubstep wobble effect. But there is quaver electric bass with distortion rhythm over the top as well, to give more drive as well. Combing two bass's really helps give more to the piece. Thanks for commenting, I may look to doing more dubstep work in the future, but still have a lot to learn I think:)
