Battlestar Galactica - Adama's speech before the mission to attempt to rescue Hera. Sub Ita.
Subtitled in Italian, here's one of the best moments in BSG series: Adama talks to the crew asking for volunteers for a desperate mission to rescue Hera, the hybrid child.

Me shooting with the glock in Riga, Latvia. Too bad the camera had only 4s left in the memory card :)
You can look on Gauise face why does the president get to jump in front of the line
This and The Wire are 2 shows I watch multiple times and enjoy it as if for the first time.
What is your duty
I'll stand if no one else will
Gaius "the coward" Baltar. Once a coward, always a coward.
If my commander is going into battle, I'm going into it as well!
I like how Bill help her to the side and Starbuck hold on to her
I really liked how not everyone volunteered. Was way more realistic
Imagine if Baltar actually DID cross that line RIGHT THEN AND THERE!
Be my luck I'd be in the toilet during the big decision.😆💩

👍
I have the whole thing on DVD and this is why I can't watch it again. Yet. Even after all these years. I'm already emotional from the start of the scene and the doctor's volunteering tears me up, THEN Rosalyn comes and I completely lose it. 😭 The performances are too powerful.
Doesn't #7 also choose to go with Adama?
Man! He could give a speech! So Say We All!
I would follow every single order he gave out
Captain sisko and admiral adama teamed up would have the cylons crying till they rust
*Grabs my rifle* *Moves to the Starboard side*
Roslin showing up is the most emotional part but my personal favourite bit is Doc Cottle trying to join the Rescue Mission side before Adama sends him back
"make your decision!" yes sir....ill have a cheeseburger
Roslin can barely walk, and is in obvious pain every inch of the way; still, she chooses to cross the line to go on the mission. Like or dislike her and /or her decisions, one has to respect that strength of will.
Powerful moment.
It's unfortunate the parent company can't get their act together and make a new movie If ever there was a Sci-Fi genre that deserve to have its own major motion picture it's definitely Battlestar Galactica
I 'd follow the Admiral everywhere, that's a great leader fighting side by side with his men! SO SAY WE ALL!!
That's the reason he commands the best ship in the fleet. Only the best for the best. So say we all.
"I will lead a raptor assault with anyone who is willing to join me."
SPARTANS! PREPARE FOR GLORY! (OUU! OUU! OUU!)
And the irony of it all is that even thougt Adama tell´s them to not make a choice based on feelings and emotions, most of the people who voluntered only did it do to the sheer strenght of the love they had for the Old Man, thats the kind of leader he was!!
Yeah my heart swelled when he gave that warning about picking emotionally, it's like he knew how many of them would react on instinct. Admiral flies off somewhere? Follow the leader!
hehe.. yeah.. some maybe not here.. that dude actually look like ... mr trump kid or something..
Crunch time. Personally, I'd follow the Admiral. SO SAY WE ALL.
Fifty billion dead. No home. No hope. Forced to abandon the last battle star. I think not. I’ll go with adama for one last chance to do something that may or may not change fate.
That's a leader ! ADAMA 2020 for president !
James T. Kirk? Never heard of her!
Never crossed my mind, Madam President.
Amazing scene. Great shot at 1:29. With Adama in the middle and Lee and Kara flanking him.
ADAMA 2016
Absolutely. Make. Your. Choice.
Anyone else is better than Hillary or Trump
My cat's litter box would be a safer bet than those two assclowns.
ADAMA 2020!
As soon as Roslin and Adama starts to play...oh man.
One of the best ever scenes from Galactica. So Say We All
I believe in the scene where he's the last one off the ship and he walks across the deck the line is faded but visible. The show was pretty good about continuity best I can tell.
So say we all!!
*SO SAY WE ALL!*
now is that my port or your port?
Tactical Derpy there's only one port on a ship👀
He even pointed in the direction you goof
I would follow this man into battle with only a spoon
Adama DID beat a Cylon to death with a flashlight one time. You'd probably be able to survive with just a spoon.
Best scene of one of the best shows ever, I find myself coming back to watch this scene every once and a while to feel all the feels.
feels
I wish Battlestar Galactica could team up with Space Battleship Yamato. Boy, they'd screw the cylons up. My favorite commanders in science fiction: William Adama, from Battlestar Galactica, and Juzo Okita, from Yamato 2199.
Best frakking show ever.
Balter did not join the mission but he lead a strike later when Galatica gets trapped in the blackhole
Aaron Peavler/Geomodelrailroader Railroad Photography He did join the mission, a bit after this scene. I wouldn't say he led a strike, but he did make himself useful and take a lot of risk.
Lee said last raptor out if you don't leave now your ass belongs to us. Baltar did not get on the raptor.
It was cute to see Gaius in riot gear
people who volunteered Roslin, Apollo, Kara Thrace, Athena, Helo, Caprica Six, the Final Five, Hoshi, Nurse Ishay, Hot Dog, Racetrack, and Skulls. Hoshi was later dropped and replaced by Balter
***** yup since he was third officer and The Final 5 were going he had to stay because they would have no one to command the fleet.
i LOVE ADAMA
I would follow that man into the heart of dominion space, into the Borg collective, the center of the Scarran Empire, straight into Peacekeeper Territory, the heart of the Death-star, To the Gates Of The Klingon Homeworld and punch in the Face of Darkside/Thanos them selves
so say we all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
kiillerrob So say we all!
SO SAY WE ALL!
Decent leadership has made and broken empires so far, it is likely it will continue if we ever venture into space.
SO SAY WE ALL!!!
I'd definitely be one of the first over the line on Adamas side.
Snowman20 I'd probably run across.
Would have beaten you to it.
One of the most awkward and overwrought scenes in an otherwise brilliant, if fascist, series.
This is a cursed comment and I wish this poster's mentality all the worst of luck
ADAMA 2016
8888alw SO SAY WE ALL!!!
I would have forgiven Baltar of everything he had done up to that point, if he would have crossed the line at this point.
Baltar joined the fight as a marine.
I forgave Baltar after Lee's brilliant speech at the trial... then immediately turned back on it when I saw how Baltar treated his near escape from execution. I can't believe he had the nerve to be outraged. He got away because nobody knew about Gina's nuke (which also means New Caprica being discovered is his fault too). How the frak was he not brimming with gratitude? I'm glad he took it like a slap to the face when Lee and Lampkin unceremoniously dumped him after their job was done.
