Perhaps they should have waited for book series to be completed before starting this?

They aimed to turn Daenerys into a villain (a ridiculous idea indeed!) but used a far-fetched plot to do so. All the build-up, storyline, and character depth developed up until season 6 (or 7) were completely undone in season 8. Having read the books, I can't fully express my disappointment after watching season 8. I hope they do better with HOTD.

Season 8 basically demonstrated the change of USAF bomber doctrine from high-altitude speed to low-altitude manoeuvrability due to improvements in Soviet anti-aircraft weaponry.

It would have been much better if Drogon showed up with armour. This would come across as preparation from team Danny. Then let 1 arrow hit it, but because of the armour it has no effect. Much better. Much cleverer .. nothing..nothing .nothing.. s8 was a disaster.

The last two seasons made the dragons feel like they were made out of glass. Every time they got on screen it was like hold breath other were going to survive. Seriously, after all the build up, who really is afraid of dragons if a crossbow can kill it?

I feel like alongside Jon Snow the unsullied and Gery Worm got the best character development. From mindless salve killer robots to conquerers to blood thirsty avengers to loyal whetever they are now after Danerys died, the unsullied had a long and painfull journey.

Why are all the black people in this series undermined, instead of being main characters they were given the part of being soldiers only. It's clear that we still have a long way to go before we can conquer racism

Biggest disappointment wasn’t just the lighting in the white walker episode. The darkness worked in some scenes. But I want light on the unsullied during that fight. They held such an amazing defensive wall it’s a shame we didn’t get to see it.

Penultimate scene reminded me just how shit the soundtrack was for the death of the Night King. What an embarrassment.
