Ngl, the first thing that comes to mind as to why, even if the traveler ended up keeping their sword. Take it as them needing to be at their ful strength to use such a powerful weapon. With how we arrived at teyvat, weakened and from a slumber that lasted almost as long as a millenia, wouldn't it be surprising how you van still use an op weapon with a weak body and no abilities left from the seal inflictef on you. It would make sense only to that if the traveler once regains their abilities and find a way to gain the sword once more. We"re not even sure if in the end game they up getting those pretty cool wings they had back at the first cutscene or if teyvat only ends up as a whole chapter 1 of our adventure and more stuff awaits us, like more map expansion, more lote, characters and locations that could be above celestia since there is a below. We also dont even know if the location of the starting screen may exist in teyvat or even could be at celestia, etc etc idk why im ranting about theories at 3:06 am in the morning 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️
