    I have a 00 4 cyl frontier that keeps throwing me the p400 code. I've replaced the egr valve n the celluloid but the code keeps coming back, HOWEVER recently since I've moved to the east coast where it's much colder, randomly the check engine light will randomly shut off for awhile, then randomly return. Having problems figuring it out I'm wondering if it's the temp sensor, dirty lines, or even the intake manifold.

    I replaced mine on my 14 tundra all the gears on dashboard are lit except the Neutral light when I switch my gears. Would you happen to know why that is? Originally I changed the Neutral Safety Switch due to the computer throwing a P0705 code and now it’s good except for the Neutral not lighting up.

      @@-kp3I have similar issue on a customers car. I have done these before. If you don’t align then correctly they will be out of wack. On the customers vehicle I’m having a brake switch light with a transmission range sensor/neutral safety switch? Problem is I don’t think that’s the problem. It’s a crank no start condition. More than likely it’s a ECM issue I think? I wish this video had the resin for the replacement?

      No sir, not in my case. This car is very smooth in the gear changes. I personally wouldn't think that this switch would have anything to do with gears jerking. That sounds like a separate issue to me.

    • @averagedudeproductions5650
      @averagedudeproductions5650 2 года назад

      Man, I wish I knew the precise name of the hose part, but I'm sorry, I don't. I used a section of high heat, silicone hose from a 10' role that I ordered from Amazon because no store or dealership near me stocked the hose part I needed. If I remember right, it was only a 5"-6" section in length, and it was 5/32" (4mm) thickness. The original hose wasn't a specific mold so any after market should work fine. If you look closely at the location of the blue hose in the video, it's pretty easy to pick out where that specific hose attaches. Good luck, hope that helps?
