Archie Sorenson: At Home on the Range
Lightening in a bottle. The timing was perfect- watch Abbot and Costello " Who's on first" was the original "perfect timing" duet, but Andy and Barney was a tight 2nd!
I love each and every one of the population of Mayberry. I still watch them and still feel just as wonderful as I did the first time I saw the episode.
This show always warms the heart
Thank u for posting this reminiscent love from this series. Very heartwarming. ❤
Ron Howard has had an amazing career. What talent!
I am almost 60 and this show was definitely part of my life! It was amazing! Thanks for the recap!
My husband will tell me while watching "The Andy Griffith Show" that I already knew what's the next scene. It's because I still watch this show until now. Everyone in this show is awesome but my most favorite character is Deputy Barney Fife (the late Mr. Don Knotts). Sad that you don't see this kind of wonderful show now a days.
I remember watching happy days for the first time and being told richie was opie. I couldn’t process that lol
Too many commercials then I noticed no references to online info. The whole show.
How many are getting through watching this and going str8 to watch the andy Griffith show??? Meeeeeeee
I watch it every night... absolutely love it ❤
@@lanceprzybyla7662 watch it every week
Not one of...the absolute 100% best show there's ever been or will ever be! I've watched all my life... every episode...my 3 boys have grown up watching it and if I have my way so will my grandchildren! Love this show with all my heart! ✌️
seen every episode at least 10 times and continue to watch it, favorite show of all time. Nothing quite like this anymore. 8:36 if that was a real place just plop me down right there id be happy .
wonder if aunt bea had a big ol hairy beav?
Ron Howard and I are the same age. While each episode was new, as I watched, I’d didn’t even realize that we were little, together. As years have marched on, I’ve watched these episodes with my children and my grandchildren and tell each of them that I was that little too when we watch Opey. These shows were pivotal to watch with my Mom as I cared for her in her home while her life was ending four years ago. We laughed and reminisced about those simpler times in life in all the subject matters that were the heart of each show. Truly, the best of the best in each actor’s character and most of all, its theme song. I love that I still get to watch each evening. Happy 70th Birthday year, Ron Howard! Thank you for my childhood memories and for this Andy Griffith Show Reunion. RIP to those who’ve left us.
I wonder if Andy Griffith was such a jerk in real life as has been reported.
The ending was like closing the door on my childhood….. ❤️
One of the best shows ever made
Too bad rh turned into a hypocrite
Should be a mandatory watch in every public school in America. K-12. No other show in history teaches life lessons life A.G.
Such wonderful memories ❤
Grew up watching the show. I've not read many positive comments about anyone that has ever met Andy Griffith in person, well at least if you're not a fellow celebrity.
It's sad to think Ron Howard is last one still alive
At age 54 I love this show to this day ❤
I absolutely love this show ❤ it's part of my soul! I still watch it, they play the show on TV LAND. All the characters were just wonderful. You can see that they really cared for each other. A far cry from what they show today. They did not cuss or take The LORDS name in vain ! Much love to all those involved in this TV show.❤❤❤
This is what needs to be learned from but back then life was slower less stressful
There are so many great life lessons that could be used today. Society is on the brink of anarchy. I cut the cable cord 15 years ago. Nothing but garbage on cable tv today!!
I seriously would strip the Interior of my house and install this courthouse set ❤
He was no Shirley Temple but a great actor
Thank goodness Howard shaved that stupid mustache off for this
I'm 30 years old I discovered this show in 2023 im grateful even though late that i got to watch this gem
Andy Griffith. Ron Howard, Jim Nabors, and Don Knotts together again on the set. That is quite a collection of great talent!!
I grew up watching this show, my children and grandchildren did also. I live in the small town in Northern Indiana I grew up in, and lovingly have told our mayor more than once "I like Mayberry just the way it is!" I enjoy sitting on my front porch swing and waving at folks I don't know walking their dogs or dads and sons playing catch. I wish the whole world still enjoyed a simple life where you know your neighbors and treat them like family and you can teach your children life's lessons and there's not much disrespect or evil. May God Bless our country and put a little bit of Mayberry in every city!
Never get tired of watching these old reruns. They are still as funny now as they were then. Loved it when Otis called Aunt Bea's house "The Rock." Ernest T. Bass, The Darlin's, Gomer, Goober, Floyd and all the rest of the characters. I'm 70 now, but I feel young when I watch this show!
I was born on September 29th 1960. The very first episode was one week later on october seventh nineteen sixty. I love this show. Andy reminds me of my father. He was a great gentleman from the south.
I'm 61 and this is my favorite show
this show just makes you feel better,,a simpler time in life
This show was a Blessing. It gave the country a wholesomeness that is almost extinct in America today. It gave America some deeper feeling for the uncomplicated times way before the information bombardment that tore us apart at the seams. We all ate the apple and now...we cannot go back.
Such a great show.
i’m 26 and grew up with every episode of andy griffith seeing all these guys together knowing they’re gone except for ron, and seeing the commercials when they were actual commercials the nostalgia from both is a hard hit lol
Otis was my favorite character. He just never quite sobered up and he was always funny.
Hello jill
I watch this show every day still. Been a fan since 1977.
Just like with Shelley Fabares still having a connection with Donna Reed, I'll bet Ron Howard still has one with Andy Griffith.
George Lindsey came over on Saturday each week for Breakfast with my father, and Chet Atkins, Ray Stevens and a bunch of well knowns. The basic breakfast club varied depending on who was on tour, but was around for decades. I remmeber when this was on tv, HE WAS PISSED, becasue he wasn't invited to participate. He said that Griffith and him "didn't get along" or "didn't like him" or something like that.... I honestly can't exactly recall the phrasing.
( George did not have overly a stellar reputation around Nashville to be honest. He was kind of a sour puss. )
I'm 60years old I still watch the Andy Griffith show I loved all of the episodes but my favorite episode was the Christmas episode
10/25/2024. I have a wonder about Google. They!!!!!, put a video about how Andy could not stand one actor from this show. I just will not watch it. My guess Andy with Ron, but this is my guess. If this proves that one video lies, then shame on Google.
10-25-2024. Dumb! Why leave in these ads? Google does enough ads, more ads is dumb. How dumb is this, just omit the ads, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10/25/2024. Ron has less hair than the two older men.
10-25-2024. I found the video. Has a photo of Don. The other video has a photo of Ron, so did Andy hate both? Dumb, Google!!!!!!
When life was so much simpler… cherished memories
Had he not died, I'm sure he would have been on his feet by now. He would have never given up.
Enjoying this. 2003, back when the country still made sense. Loving the commercials that were originally aired with the show! Thank you for sharing this little slice of American life.
I'm 64 years old, and this is still my favorite show. The Andy Griffith Show represents such a wonderful time.
