Yack Tracks (Yackandandah) MTB Trail Impressions
Me waiting for part 2 💀
Obviously, the title needs editing. The newer E4 are way better than any 4-pot Shimano. The HT rotors are not as good as Swissstop but better than Shimano Icetech. Product support outside of mainland GB is worse than led to expect - could be due to Brexit or HT is just too small to support a global marketplace (I suspect the latter).
#5 to #1 🙏
Great Vid, please do Part 2 Bruh
When's part 2 coming out?
How much it's cost
Yak tracks has about 4-5, long loops. Worth 4-5 days. Beechworth is rocky and very tech. Not my cup of tea.
10. Wombat 9. Anglesea - blue square trails 8. Buxton - green circle, blue square through semi alpine forest quite damp but nice and cool in summer and good view of cathedral ranges , long flow, not muddy 7. Beechworth and Yaktrax 6. Lysterfield
Where these tracks
This is the wrong Victoria. I'm in Victoria British Columbia. Stupid RUclips. Somebody should do a top 10 trails in Victoria British Columbia.

Well done.
For a professionally designed, built and paid for trail it is the worst segment I have seen. I do appreciate it need to be 2-way thus there needs to be consideration given to it being a green climb but it is extremely over designed.
I’ve been there twice ... got lost twice
They are good though .. don’t get me wrong ... it was a good lost .. sort of
Yeah, I went through here about 6months ago and was astonished and disappointed. I see what they were trying to do, and if it was executed properly, the flow would be great, but in the sections where they tried to upgrade, it feels they tried to squeeze too much into a small area....
What bike did you put the shock on? How did it ride? Compared to what you had before?
No part 2?
Where is part 2?
100% agree with your assessment of the Trail. I love that there has been an attempt at developing the trail, but it hasn't been executed very well at all, and the end result is an extremely unwhelming ride on what could be a really fun section.
The system that tightens around your head loosens really easily and would definitely loosen in a crash, is it suppose to do that?! And is this thing actually good for mountain biking?! There’s no padding, and the helmet seems really thin! I’m mainly going to use this for fast biking around the city and hill Bombing would it hold up to a good crack of the head on the concrete?!?
I hired a Specialized Turbo Levo SL eMTB in Bright recently and I rode with a local guy to the top of Mystic. I was amazed at how well the bike rode on the lowest power setting. Coming down the trails I had the motor turned off and it handled the trails well. Because I was riding with guys on pedal bikes, I actually turned the power off after a while to see how well I could keep up with them whilst pedaling. The SL version is the lighter version Levo and didn't feel that much different than my Giant Reign enduro bike. We ran into a couple of other local guys who had ebikes, that had them because they can do so much more trails in 1 day, so they're actually doing more riding than they would on their pedal bikes. Overall I was really impressed with this bike and could see how beneficial they can be. I won't be getting an ebike at the moment because I can't afford the one I'd want.
Keep shredding! Subbed
You ever get the adapter to mount shifter to brake?
still not sure why people do vids with no audio??? like what are u even adjusting with the first knob bro?????
Lever reach
How's the hike-ability? Like walking back up the trail to try a feature again, etc?
I use 11-50T SunRace cassette, I use the all of the gears, and I need all the gears, I use 32T oval, which is max size I would run, I think a 28T might work well too, BoX One X-Wide, the clutch looks like a good solution, to adjsut cluthc jsut take off cover and adjsut the bolt, and you can pull the clutch out easily too to access the bolt for the cage, Shimano's is over complicated and is fiddly to work with, Archer D1X Trail electronic shifting to eliminate fatigue, and solve fitment issues, no mechanical skrifters that I have seen will fit me. It works with any rear derailleur, and you can easily adjust each cog position. how it looks like on the back of my bike: flic.kr/p/2i1BmMK
Por favor alguien me puede dar la medida ojo a ojo y recorrido travel ?
I live there and it pronounced tar thra except in 1 word
Where did you start and finish?!
hi just wondering where you bought them from thanks!
Do these feel more like Shimano or sram brakes?
Never knew there was a black diamond there
Even though I ride every weekend
Love the tune! 😀
THANKS for the great close ups.

Hi! Given the large "debossed" area on the outsole for cleat, can this shoe still work with flat pedals with pins (non- clipless mode), should the need arise?
I have ridden them with flats and pins before. Did not have any problems. Seem to work fine.

Agree!
Thanks so much for the tips guys but I would definitely look into investing in a GoPro Hero 7 or the new 8. The stabilisation is amazing. Wanted to watch more of yours but I I started feeling a little funny. Hope you don’t mind the advice👍🏾
No worries. Yeah footage was pretty shaky for parts. I think we will re-doing this one when we get a chance.
I liked the lizard. More wildlife please. 🦎
Yeah I saw two of them. Quite big they were.
Ben, nice trail. It is rather flat hey? (Hence 'mountainless')
Yeah it is pretty flat around there so luckily there is a place for riding near the river with a bit of variation for trails
Ben, I know Bright is a great place. You reckon I can do this trail?
Yeah there is a variety of trails so everyone has options. The climb to hero trail is a fair hike but isn't too bad. The trail is worth the climb though.
@@mtbtaster7752 Let's go next time mate! I may need to get in touch soon as I am planning get my own MTB.
Ohh nice one. Yeah happy to advise on bikes.
Really cool video keep up the knarly work🤘🤘
Thanks
do you know is there hava a cleat cover plate for the hellcat?
Sorry I don't know. They did not come with them.
Ben, would eMTB be a reasonable option for a beginner (i.e. unfit) like me?
Yeah it could be a good option - but more expensive etc... It takes the effort out of the hill climbs.
Wireless drive train sounds awesome. But repair would most likely cost an arm and a leg.
At the moment the whole group set is ridiculously expensive. But I think eventually all the components will trickle down to cheaper levels. It's SRAM AXS.
