The 501c3 status is a gag order on the Church. These 501c3 Churches receive monthly documents telling them what they can & cannot teach. These Churches have put themselves under the authority of the government instead of God. That's a huge! No! No!

The 501c3 does have restrictions in what the church can discuss regarding politics.. which is interesting. The enemy lures the pastor in with the tax exemption but then the government is the overseer NOT the Holy Spirit. This is why so many Christians have no idea what is happening in the world today and what is coming. The pastors choose money over Christ.

We made car payments to our retired minister's car until it was paid off. Last year we sent of a lump sum to pay it off early. Does he get a 1099 NEC for those payments... or a W2... He retired in early 2021 and we finally paid it off in 2023. Thanks

Can the Treasures wife be on the board? Who makes up for the board? ie trustees Secretary, Pastor? At our small church we have what they call a financial committee made up of seven members which I believe the pastor calls that our board.

He said: "in Branch Ministries vs. Rossotti" ... he tells the story of how this church applied for and received a 501c3 exemption, later it was found guilty of "intervening in a political campaign" and "it's tax exempt status was revoked" then he goes on to say "having 501c3 status protected this church not hindered it's religious liberties." Ummm, no - their freedom of speech got them in trouble because a 501c3 organization has conditions that prevent speaking out or participating in political matters or tax exempt status can be revoked. That's what he said happened to the church. So either this is terrible video editing or worse because it's contradictory and misleading.

The bylaws should be based upon the Word of God. Christ is the head of the church therefore the body which is the church should move only that which is according to Gods Word. The church belongs to him.

A registered 501c3 is a state govt church obligated to obey all govt laws. Their CEOs, formerly pastors report all activity to IRS & it has to approve the churchs creed. Theyre members are in essence wards of the state while in the premise, pastors prep flock twisting Romans 13 leading them to the slaughter when govt comes to your home to take you to the the kcamps, your Judas pastor will tell you to obey, "for your own good "

Yeah he lied anyways and said that it helped them I have a feeling this channel is deceiving people on purpose on behalf of the IRS but, I’m just a small time pastor and don’t know everything, but I am going with the unction I feel in my gut

I am more interested in what restrictions are imposed when you get into bed with the government. Jesus had an opinion about turning the church into a corporation. Did you miss that story? Check out Mathew 21:12 and Mark 11:15. The Church is not meant to be a corporation.
