@ettisims I didnt like how almost every single tribute had some sort of love for eachother it felt rlly unrealistic and a lot of them were sexualized. The quality of the movie was good but i didnt rlly like how unrealistic it was

also i wanna add that I found it kinda weird how almost all the tributes were friends with eachother bcuz it wasnt like that in the books or hg movies so all around it felt unrealistic but the quality and characters were good

@@ettisimsi finished watching and wow, I definitely wasn’t excepting for it to take a dark turn like that. I loved the psychological game, the game makers put on the tributes. and the story felt way more humane and emotional for me, bc the buildup was really slowly written and paced. I felt genuinely sad when flukus died, I have a disabled brother so I felt connection with him and foxglove too, a lot of the tributes where really relatable so good job 👏

@@ettisims I prefer a slower paced story to get to know the characters better, then a fast one. I love the story and the characters I’m probably gonna watch it again and curious for your next projects ( if your making them )

@@Thegreatlarusso im making voice overed series about foxglove's granddaughter 60 years after the end of the hunger games, but its like totally original plot, the hunger games is just a topic everyone keeps talking about, so yeah, I am not really expecting very positive reactions from the people who are here for a specific type of content

@@danwentzel7247 yes, they were drugged with airborne mind-altering/hallucinogenic substances. about these psychological tests, they have nothing to do with training scores. they were like a regular check up of the mental health of the tributes, but also made with the purpose to find out their traumas and fears so the game makers can use these against them if they decide to. in the movie (because I felt like it would be so) mental health and mental illness is a tabu topic and kids in the districts are heavily undereducated about it, they can't even comprehend the meaning of these diagnoses - and that's what happened with the d1m and d12f, they've been diagnosed with having some serious mental illness, while everyone else was mentally fine. and this, they thought, would be some sort of disadvantage for them in the arena, therefore blaise (d1m) reacted so bad to the whole thing, when he found out about it

@@rosewinter1817 that just totally made my day ❤ while I was doing the movie ive been totally thinking about how I might get to read such long sweet comments one day and it got me going cause there is nothing better than receiving some praise for your work. thank you thank you thank you ❤ that was so long I loved it, and also I actually hated vidgis too even if I already had the idea about her character development and this only changed when I was filming her death scene and I was ugly crying, dont know man, there was just something about it. thank you so much once again❤

@@emmalee7386 ashbel got executed for speaking against the games publicly in my video "interview with the mentors" which is supposed to be like an extra scene to the movie. thank you for watching ❤️ and yeah I get it, there were many friends, but how much of a friends were they really, in the end there were like only 2 or 3 pairs of people actually caring about each other

@@jeffchen1503 oh no, nothing supernatural like that, I will explain. the movie has many narrators and one of them, the most important one, is dreadmel's boyfriend, the guy you see at the end. the movie starts with his narrative and ends with his narrative. the whole point is that this guy has some really bad case of schizophrenia, but so does dreadmel. when foxglove comes on a visit he imagines dreadmel. I'm spoiling it only for you but these two will be married in my next series with him imagining her as dreadmel for many years. this totally broken sense of reality shows that the events in the hunger games might not have been as presented, not as extreme, not as brutal, dreadmel might have even died a lot earlier, but that's how the boyfriend in question "saw" the games and how he presented them as a main narrator, through the perspective of his own mental illness.

@@jeffchen1503 and foxglove said that to mel because foxglove comes in the role of the "purifier". she felt the darkness in the soul ever since their first meeting, even when she so deeply believed and wanted to believe she is good. foxglove didnt want to win, in fact she came into the games to end her life, bur she didnt want to let dreadmel win either because she would only get worse, darker with the years, and since foxglove was coming from a deeply religious family, she was worried about the size of the godly punishment she would receive once she is dead. so foxglove decided she was making her a favour that way. sorry that was long

@@ettisims so foxglove plays along with it, because...she feels sorry for him for losing his girl or more of the view "to make things right" as much as she can? it's an interesting situation regardless which angle you look at it yeah

@@jeffchen1503 I mean I wouldnt say she plays along, it's presented more like a moment of weakness, since she is touch starved and has yearned for anything romantic in her life which just couldnt happen because of her strict religious father and the way she was raised. but what plays the biggest role in my opinion, is that there was some really weird unspoken connection between dreadmel and foxglove, some magnetic pull, which wasnt platonic or romantic, but something bigger. they are supposed to represent oppossites so I guess its like stepping in the other persons shoes, like the other unknown part of hers

@@ZeeZay-si5kj im actually done with hunger games movies, im working on a series about the granddaughter of my victor in this movie, set like 70 years after the 66th hunger games. so there won't be any actual hunger games in my series but things will be still kind of connected

I mean its still going to be the hg universe, but many years after peace has been made and the hunger games were stopped

@@lpshungergames thank you for watching ❤ just wanted to clarify bovine isn't fetishizing white girls, it's more an accent about how the population in their district consists mainly of people of colour so that's something quite rare for them. they are mocking the white girls because they feel like they would be the weakest one around. but its also supposed to demonstrate how apheleia isnt his preferred type of women, although apheleia showed interest in him, he was so much more intrigued by a white girl, because its something new for him, because it's part of his personal preference and so on. I hope this clears things up
