I think the laughing is genuine. And also the way he laughs at his own jokes is really cute

God I love Mr. Patrick-Harris. It's so refreshing to see one of our own, meaning gays, representing us in such a wonderful and mostly true way. (Except most of us have nowhere near his talent). Anyway, not the way most of the media like to portray us sometimes. But the way most of us are. But he himself is so special, he made a brunette-only-loving, blonde gay man, want a blonde. Who cares. But he's just so awesome. God.

He is a really really good singer that sometimes his singing makes me cry and I am so proud of him over his past years of acting ever scene 1988! He made us Laugh and cry and smile now he bringed that to the whole world he is not just any actor he is a Actor Comedienne Muscahin and Singer he makes me believe in my self that I will become an actress when I grow up and plus he was in my favortie childhood movie Smurfs 1 and 2 he made me laugh every timeand plus when i was 5 yrs old that was the very first time i ever saw him now I am 12 and BTW i bet he was really tried after the Tony Awrds

Fantastic! What was about the SUSHI joke? I didn't get this one and judging from the audience's reaction there is something behind it.
It's a theater joke. everyone eats Sushi during productions and many actors say it gives them the energy to keep going night after night.

No, no, no... the sushi joke is about Jeremy Piven's abrupt departure from a revival of "Speed-the-Plow," citing mercury toxicity from consumption of large amounts of sushi. He became an instant punchline, since everyone assumed he was basically just incapable of meeting the physical demands of doing 8 shows a week. Ultimately, arbitration proceedings actually sided with Piven on the grounds of his health in general, though the sushi allegation has never been proven, and remains dubious.

It would have been great if he hosted this year especially when Hamilton is going to sweep and LMM cowrote the opening and closing number for the last time NPH hosted the tonys! Although it isn't confirmed why he isn't hosting but if it was a decision by CBS without NPH expressing he wouldn't host, I feel like they might have just wanted to keep inside the family with Corden b/c HIMYM ended =l
But now Corden didn't do a bad job.
I still wish we had Neil even if Corden wasn't that bad, Neil would have kicked ass, especially as everyone knows Hamilton is just gonna sweep all the awards
