I'm currently reading Clytemnestra by Costanza Casati. Its a retelling of Clytemnestra from the Odyssey by Homer. She is famous for being Helen of Troy's sister and (infamous) for killing her husband. I highly recommend reading it. She plays many roles and it follows her from her teen years to her adulthood and she embodies female rage. I hope you enjoy it

I feel like content is so far removed from reality these days to the point where “affordable” glow up videos are stuff only very few people can afford. I feel I’ve changed as a person as well and my life has changed as well and I feel like I should change my feed to reflect that as well

If you need to talk about it though, its ok obviously u dont need to go into the details but I am glad your going and getting through the tougher parts, I really feel you. I used to be sporty and run regularly then got ill in my late 20s and still don’t have a proper diagnosis. Im disabled due to a dislocation of my pelvis and scoliosis which affects my legs and arms and gives me chronic pain and has stopped me exercising as I get injuries due to overstretching of my muscles. I agree with you that lots of the healthy eating and sports related instagram pages are not inclusive for disabled / chronically ill people. As you mention you get injuries a lot it might be worth looking into whether you have ehlers danlos syndrome as that can cause injuries and its also common to have endometriosis and pcos with EDS.

Cuz my best friend is the most alt queer ever and got approached soooo many times and one time when i was dressed really goth that was the day some religious freaks tried to approach me in a park while i was FEEDING CROWS and my shirt had a print of a pagan god on it and they gave me the same wierd ahh smile and asked me if id like to hear about their faith and i just laughed. It was so funny. they got offended. That made me so happy 10/10 highly recommend
