This channel started when I was a contestant in The Favorite Chef competition where I could have won $25K! (an AWESOME chef won favchef.com)
1 FavChef question for the contestants was: WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH $25K???
I said: TITHE. I would tithe to people/groups who are BRAVELY FEEDING PEOPLE IN A MODERN WORLD.
That 1 Q&A made me look around. It made me actively listen and look for people who are in the thick of it every day, connecting human to human, to BRAVELY FEED PEOPLE. I was curious, what was fueling their passion? So I began talking with people who were doing good and hopeful work and that's how the videos began.
The goal of the videos is to market empathy, lamentation, curiosity, love, getting in the dirt, investing in the future of food & people, and taking care of one another in the most intimate ways. As a priest, I have fed babies with a spoon of soft food & hospice patients with a spoon of wine from the altar. Life is a heart to heart business requiring sustenance!
