Tulster is the only one I'd buy of this lot
@Pinkskull69420 tulster is amazing if you don't have one you should consider it. I like mine
@@TrentsGarage i went with tier 1 and like it aside from the plastic clips. I'm upgrading to the DCCs soon
I’d like to talk to you about the 94 Toyota rebuild
where did you buy your kit?
where did you buy your rebuild kit?
It's a 20 gallon parts washer and 5 gallons will not reach the pump. 10 gallons will but the fluid will evaporate in a short time (about a year) and you'll need to add more. But, it's a pretty good washer for the money. We used to have Safety Clean rent us (in business) a parts washer and service it but unless you are flush with money don't even think about that!
What book are you referring to for the rebuild?
I used the magic eraser on my flat water canoe. Works pretty well. Fingers get a good work out.

Awesome truck man! May i ask how many miles?
me interesa cual es su número de teléfono
It's for sale

For Sale.

I use Permatex on my freeze plugs. I don’t put them in dry.
Just a quick question here did you do your crankshaft endplay? it did show up in your vid
I did, it specd out properly
Hey Nikolai how many quarts did you end up using? I'm seeing different amounts all over the internet. thanks
Great video I bought mine when it was Black Friday and paid 199.00. Every review I saw gave this brand as the best for its price range. Nice to know that the company backed their product up when there was an issue which happens even to the best of them.
Thanks brother! How's yours holding up?
What size socket do I need for left side of track bar with the ball joint I know the right side is a 30mm thanks!
Does this cause your garage to stink?
Nice work
How much should a mechanic charge to replace the trac bar?
What special tools ya need for this
Just pulled the trigger yesterday. I stopped by for another opinion and check comments! Thanks for the review and also comments.
You ever get the heads back from the machine shop brother man. I just got to the point lastnight of putting the timing belt new idler, new tensioner and all the covers back on my 94 3zve. I went with an engine tech master kit with mls head gaskets to go with my ARP head studs. The only rebuild videos for a 3.0 I can find are for the bottom end so I hope to see you upload the rest of this build lots of good info here good work man. That’s a slick extended cab pickup you got I’m glad you’re keeping it alive with the 3.0 most aren’t fond but hell they’re little tractor engines😂 poor maintenance and still roll over 400k miles gotta love em
What branch? I'm retired Af as of 1 Aug 26 years This is my first post as a retired man. Thanks for service and your video
Some people say they’ve received theirs with the 220 volt plug as the primary plug and others say they received it with a 110 as the primary plug. What did yours come with?
Didn’t tape off the bottom end or cylinder deck for over spray?….. edit (tape off with plastic bag)
😮
Is the 3rd gen better?
Hello dear friend. Is it possible to contact you directly? Interested in a rebuilt engine
California? I’m in cali Oregon area
Hello dear friend. Is it possible to contact you directly? Interested in a rebuilt engine
What da hell are you doing?? Looks like eazy off oven cleaner?
I appreciate your time and effort in making the video. You really underestimate these little machines. I had one and you can actually cut 1/2" steel with it. On 220v of course. And when you cut angle iron like that with a standoff or without you should cut it from the outside instead of the inside. The distance from the tip to the material is critical in getting a clean cut and in the life of the consumables. Crank that air pressure up to 65psi! I've actually had 2 and both were stolen shortly after I got them. The third one will be coming soon as my video cameras and security system obviously had to come first. Crank it up and enjoy it! They are awesome machines.
I’ve built one from scratch about 8 years back. Sprayed the block bronze. Looks good bud 👍😎
I've heard different about the head bolts I believe that they are torque to yield
Its been 10 months hows the parts washer holding up ?
Just did this and more to mine. Still working on getting my computer to jive with all it's systems, again.
it is a good project. what kind of book / instruction manual you were looking at? wondering😀
Thank you for the video. This girl ✋🏼just bought her first tractor. Yanmar YM2420D.
Congratulations!
I have a 91 that's been leaking oil out of the rear of the engine. It's been into the dealer 3X for them to attempt to repair it and it is STILL leaking! We're thinking that there must be a problem with the block because they replaced the main seal 2X, the oil pan and the ring around the main seal on the 3rd visit. I'm wondering whether the bolts that hold the ring in place aren't getting good threads in the block, so they aren't holding. I'm hoping to see how things work when you put that part together.
Check the valve cover gasket. And then check the camshaft rear seal plugs. More often that not people start with the valve cover gasket, tighten it, replace it, add gasket compound, add more, start over. The whole time the leak is just about 2 inches around the corner.
@@nickt9467 The dealer finally got the rear of the motor all sealed up but now the front side of the motor is leaking again, less than 1 year since that was worked on by another mechanic. It's back at the other mechanic and he's honoring his warranty. That other mechanic had already dealt with the valve cover gaskets; he had to re-address one side because it started leaking shortly after the first time he worked on it!
Nice video 👍👍👍how much $$$ you spend to rebuild your engine l have 93 3.0L the head gasket blow now I am thinking to rebuild the whole engine
Around $600 or so
@@TrentsGarage Including machine shop?
@@adkisojk yes with machine shop work ( jet wash, honing, heads resurfaced with new valve seals, new pistons installed on connecting rods that were bead blasted, and crank and cams polished, with the master rebuild kit)
Every video I see said 30 to 35 on 120volts
Who can rebuild my engine 3.0 3vze
I'm not sure what your question is friend.
@@TrentsGarage my bad i mean who can rebuild my engine 3.0 3vze
@@josep.7387 if you aren't able to do it yourself I'd Google machine ships around you
I know of two places in Portland, Oregon (Oregon Engine Rebuilders and Raptor Engines) and one place just north of there (YotaShop).
I’ll do it
Okay I subscribed I’m still a fan of 3vze and I know it’s about time for complete refresh Damn you man, now I’ll have to it Where did you get your gasket kit and are they all new parts?
DNJ Engine Components is where I purchased my rebuild kit from. You will also need Toyota FIPG as well. Thanks for subscribing brother! I appreciate it
about to do my first full rebuild on a 3VZ. appreciate the info and can’t wait for the next video on the build process!
Hell yeah brother! I just picked up a 99 4runner so I might start doing some videos on that one too. Thanks for watching and commenting, be sure to subscribe if you haven't so you'll be notified when I post new videos!
Niceeee 🤙🏽
Thank you
I can't wait to pull mine out and breathe some life into it
Get on it son! I just picked up a 1999 4runner. Going to be another build I'm doing, nothing crazy. I'll probably do a walk around video of it soon. Just got a lift for it in the mail today.
@@TrentsGarage I installed the rough country lift about 8 months ago on my 92 runner. Eventually I will do the solid axle swap if I can find me a decent donor at the junkyard!
@@SemperMortem I have a 1985 solid axle sitting in the bed of my 1990 if decide to SAS it. I went with the freedom offroad adjustable coil over kit for the 1999 4runner.
@@TrentsGarage looks like im gonna start sooner than i planned, I think I spun a bearing after getting no oil pressure for a minute when I fired it up after doing the manual swap.
Great review! Thanks for taking the time to help others to get better informed. I just got this same great little machine and it sputtered on 115v too but I switched it to 20 amp 115v circuit and it worked like a champ. The book seems to indicate it needs 20A to 45A input on 110V Hope this helps
Thanks for your comment glad I could help
"It looks like it's running just fine" As it sputters really bad 😂😆. The cheap Chinese paied for advertising are so funny
Maybe if you watched the whole video till the end you wouldn't have posted an idiotic comment. Also I purchased this with my own money from Amazon and made this video on my own accord no affiliation. Thanks for watching!
We need some more videos of this project 👌
I'm trying to get footage. I'm not the best but trying lol. Thanks for the support though. I uploaded a video rebuilding the engine recently. Please be sure to like and subscribe if you haven't already.
Theses are a great tool to have at home shop but don’t put flammable liquids in them I’ve seen one shop burn up because he used gas and diesel mix
yep, flammables and electric pumps don't mix too well
@@M.TTT. Check the fuel pump in your car. They mix well.
