Introducing the Regal Winter Suite!
As soon as I saw the new mini catalog, I fell in love with this gorgeous suite of products! I love the rich, jewel tones in the amazing Designer Series (DSP) paper pack - Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock, Cherry Cobbler, Blackberry Bliss, Wild Wheat and Berry Burst! The florals are gorgeous and the "plain" back sides are lovely too! There is a second pack of DSP that has gold foiled designs paired with White, Pretty Peacock and Cherry Cobbler. The stamped images feature beautiful Distinctive botanicals and four sentiments. There are coordinating dies (including a label), embellishments and ribbon to complete the suite.

How Do I Make Pearlized Backgrounds and Images?
Просмотров 108День назад
When you use your Water Painter and Enamel Effects, you can make amazing pearlized backgrounds, papers, shapes, tags and images! You will want to cover your block with plastic wrap, or use a scrap piece of plastic so you have a place to pool the Enamel Effects. I used the flat brush to apply color in a variety of ways, even adding ink to change the color! Be sure to have a cup of water handy so...
7 Different Ways to Color the Frosted Forest Tree

This video will feature seven different ways you can color the deciduous tree from the Frosted Tree Bundle. Because this is a technique video, I am not showing a variety of cards like I normally do, but teach you each of the seven methods of coloring. For each tree, I've used the same colors as much as possible to yield a true comparison. I've indicated the times for the beginning of each metho...
How Do I Make a Fun, Textured Background with my Brayer?

When using panels embossed with an embossing folder, you have two sides to use for your cards - embossed or debossed. When I was making a card recently and added the glue to adhere it to my card, I noticed just how lovely the debossed side was. It gave me the idea to color this with my brayer and I was thrilled with the effect! This video will show you just how I added my colors along with some...

I am using the Sentimental Park and Simply Said stamps, along with the Greetings of the Season and Sentimental Park Dies. How Do I Add Light Color to a Stamped Image?

This is a very quick way to add light color to a stamped image. After stamping, use the Blender Pen to drag color from the lines of the stamped image to lightly fill in the rest of the image. I demonstrate with flowers and leaves, but the possibilities are endless! I especially like doing this when I want a soft look. Unbounded Love Dies - So Many Possibilities

I always love a good die set and this is one of them! There are sixteen dies, but several of them cut multiple pieces so you get even more use from the set. I have a chart showing the pieces cut out which is a handy visual reference. Several of the dies can be shortened or lengthened, further increasing the value of this set. Of course, these dies are part of a bundle and while I do use the sta...
How Do I Spritz with Stampin' Write Markers?

Learn how to use your Stampin' Write markers to add a spritz of color to your cards. The process can be a little messy and/or unpredictable. I recommend you move things out of the way (especially card parts that you don't want spritzed!) and close your ink pads. I also suggest you add some scrap paper underneath the piece being spritzed to make cleanup easier. There are several other ways to sp...

Great cards, love the coloured foil. I believe that there are 34 colours in Stazon, I have several of them.
@@ariesgirl3444 Thank you so much! I didn’t know there were so many colors! Which do you use most? I hope you enjoy some of my other videos too.
@@thepowerofacard2227 I mostly use the black or Timber brown. Now that I've seen your video, I will try out others. A few years ago, I did a Journal cover where I cut up a piece of cardboard the same size as the journal cover (with the foil already attached) put each piece through a different embossing folder, then coloured each piece with different colours of Stazon, and of course, put it all back together on the cover.. It was very beautiful. I don't go to quite that much work these days, but this has reminded me of the project. Sorry for the long reply. 😄
WOW! What a terrific video! Such wonderful ideas and additional options. I've learned so much besides using my go to colouring methods of blending brushes or alcohol markers, so thank you so much!! I love 💕 all the cards for different looks & effects, numbers 1 - 7A are my favourites. I prefer 7A over 7B, for the single colour. Lovely card design as well. Thank you for sharing & inspiring your viewer's. Cheers, Dotty 😊
Haha - I love that almost all are your favorites! Like you, I tend to go to my old faithfuls and forget we have lots of coloring options. Hopefully I’ve inspired others to branch out too. Thanks again for being a faithful subscriber, commenter and cheerleader!
Hi my sweet friend! I love this video so much! you did a wonderful job sharing all of the techniques! I learned a lot! I love the way they all turned out but I think that 3 and 5 look the best with that dsp.
Thank you Cheri! I wasn’t sure how this video would be received, but I think subscribers, like you, are learning from it and that makes me happy. I so appreciate your kind words! I’ll be interested to see which technique gets the most votes! Hugs!
I like three the blends and water colour and the write makers
Isn’t it fun to see the different options side by side? I would rarely do this and I think it will make me experiment more rather than always coloring with my fallback blends. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Love seeing the different options. Never would have thought to use Stampin' Write markers. I like the sponge dobbers better than the blending brushes. That's a surprise to me. Liked the pencils too. Didn't care much for the blends. Who knew! Thank you for sharing!!!
I was a bit surprised at the daubers too - I think they yield a more natural look. Blends may have looked better if we had a garden green. It was quite fun to see the variety of looks! Glad you enjoyed it!
