Thank you for the Tutorial. Never the less i had a problem. May i ask wish version of VBox have you used. Because i have 6.2 and the Virtual Machine SO is Win10, but i still have a problem with the Unallocated memory on the Virtual Operative system. I can´t figure out, why you could reduce it. I could not and i can´t make anything with that Unallocated memory.

Why Dell dont fix this issue?

I added other active directory usernames (so, not a service account) to pg_ident and pg_hba but that didn't work. Is it the same procedure for regular AD users trying to connect to Postgres on Windows? Thanks!

You can do the same for a SATA SSD too and have two SSDs. I own an Inspiron 5400 and did not know the brackets were there. Awesome!

Ok my extremely smart 11 year old wants me to do this to our computer. Will this expand the hard drive or will this work the same as an external hard drive? He attached an external hard drive but is having trouble running programs because it needs to be on the main drive.

Hey Bill, great post with details. I followed your instructions and was able to setup to the end except the web page doesn't load. The log file of the Tomcat shows it has installed. I get this weird HTTP Status 500 Internal Server Error which says "Cannot invoke org.xwiki.component". I didn't run the setup with SSPI though, my DB is online as well
