Some boy was getting ready to send mine through window had it 5 years nearly
How do you find that drift information?
A few months ago, I bought an Xbox One Elite Controller from Ebay since I wanted my first Elite Controller but couldn't afford a new one. I was happy to finally have one. (Basically just bought it for the paddles, cause after my third controller, I got sick of LB breaking😅) A few weeks ago, I realized my right stick got a slight stickdrift upwards but it was nothing to worry about. But since I fixed stickdrift on one or two of my previous Controllers already, I was going to try to fix this one too. I just increased the gap a bit and to my surprise and thanks to you, I no longer have stickdrift
You've earned your place in Valhalla.
Great just broke my controller
Damn😢
See, my stick drift usually comes from actual worn out analog sticks where they have a bit of wiggle to them before you feel any tension.
Old video but it didn't work for me. I hated that I haven't been able to use my elite series 2 controller. Well, it seems to have reduced how often it occurs, it's still about one out of 5 movements.
how do you pop out the senors? also mine are black not blue
This worked. Thank you!
you can use a 1/4in socket to remove that joystick dome, much easier than using the joystick cap.
Okej this shit worked :D hope it works for a while. Thanks brother!
@@Cizdipak It will! just make sure you dont drop the controller
@@gabrielvaz2461 I have kids, so that is impossible. :D
That's cool. I ended up trying air duster and CRC 2-26 contact cleaner lubricant from home depot. That didn't work this time. I found out when you pry that green cover away and then put screw driver in between the little metal disk and twist screw driver and little it bends the metal to make better contact. In the calibration website I could push the green cover towards stick and it would stop drift, so this is why I attempted bending the metal disk inside. If I messed it up I would be replacing that part anyways. Typicaly contact cleaner lubricant works without taking controller apart. Thank you!
you shouldnt even have to do this on a controller this expensive. This controller is trash
Thanks man u saved me $ not only u didn't waste my time like every other stick drift videos and u where to the point top notch and thank you
worked with a regular series x controller as well. The air dust method did not work (to be fair, it seemed to had made the matter worse), so I was researching about the elite 2 controller fixes and upon stumbling into this video, I said to try it since I've got nothing to lose. It worked. Not sure for how long, but If I get a few extra months of life out of this, I'll be happy. Cheers.
Less on the “literally”, more on the good tips.
This fixed it on my reguarl Xbox one controller, thank you!
Bro you are the best
Does this work on the Scuf one?
HOW THE FCK DO YOU UNSCREW THE JOYSTICKSSS
You can just move it to the side without actually unscrewing it, that’s how I did it
I was able to do it to both sticks without even taking the thumbs off just move it all the way to the side and use a small flathead
king shit brodie
I did the same thing because my right stick was having issues with looking up and down(mainly my character staring up all the time) now it's having left right problems on top of the up down ones .... I don't know what to do anymore. The only thing I didn't do was leaving a space. Do you think it would be better to do it again and leave a bit of space? Edit: I thought to myself "f*ck it, the controllers warranty has probably expired after the first attempt and the space leaving thing was the only thing I didn't do the first time so why not give it a shot. And OMG it's as if I bought a brand new Controller not a single bit of drift is noticeable. So thank you so so much friend.🎉🎉
These controllers are crap. The Thrustmaster eswap x pro controller is much better.
I literally enjoyed this video
Thanks fixed my controller ❤
Yea my stick just broke down once i was done soo gg
Brotherrr what a savior. I haven't used this controller in like 2 years. Even got a ps5 controller. But I cant use that with STALKER 2 even using a xbox controller emulator. I watched one video before yours but it didnt help. While I had it opened I said "let me try another video" from the beginning your stick was doing the exact same as mine, constantly moving forward. Fixed it in 2 seconds. What a saint! +20 Aura
I never comment videos, but DUDE, THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤
Thanks for the Video man it helped a lot. At first, I just figured that my stick was broken, but after opening my Controller, I discovered that there was a broken piece of plastic stuck underneath it. Again lots of appreciation from my and your a savior.❤
❤❤❤
You reslly saved me from just buying a nee Elite controller thanks a lot man👍🏼🙏🏼
holy crap my right stick unscrewed in the controller I was so worried that It was just gonna wobble around forever
Drift happens because the potentiometers get worn down. This probably worked because you're putting a bit less tension on the potentiometer by moving it away from the controller, but it won't be a forever fix because the potentiometers will still get worn down. The only solution is replacing the potentiometers when they get worn.
1:10....it was still drifting 😂
Because he was showing that it is still there😂
WOW!!.. IT WORKED !!.. THANKS I will like and subscribe.
Didn’t work right away but I kept adjusting and testing the dead zone Graph on COD and I lowkey fixed my drift so thanks
Wow this instantly worked , I didn't even have to take the stick off ..just tilt it and pry the green box. EZ PZ
Btw my elite controller is 3 years old and peeling apart 😂
Thank you! For months I suffered from this drifting and used my xbox One controller in replacement untill it broke down too (bluethooth button broke down) .. Finally gave this method a go and now it works as it should. Its weird to play now when I have got used to this drifting lol
I need an update on anybody that did this 3 years ago? How long did the fix last?
Just did it today with mine it worked ! Be very precise with what he’s saying
3 years later, I want to THANK YOU. Seriously, saved me so much time and looking into other options of fixing
It worked and than messed up with getting scammed by my instant glue. Drift went away and dis F in glue didnt cure fast enough and went trough the sensors. Now ive ordered a whole new joystick
Still works
I love u ngl
For moments it worked. But now is doing for up and down. (before was just up) any recommendations?
THIS ACTUALLY WORKED idk about the long run…
Just saved me 80$ from a repair store. Took me 2 hours to get off the front stupid plate, and I didn’t take off the dome just moved it to the right and did it . Works good now
You absolute legend the video Microsoft don’t want you to see guy just saved me £50 thank you bro 👍👍
An elite controller getting drift why do yall still buy dem
I had a left drift on my right stick. I followed your instructions. Unscrewed the controller, pried off the bottom green part. After that I had a permanent left drift. I then snapped one side of the green part back in, but it didn't get any better. After an hour nothing worked anymore and I thought I had ruined my controller. Then I used a screwdriver to pry off the green part more and saw that there were small wires there. With a second screwdriver I moved these wires closer towards the stick and snapped the green part back in completely. I still had a slight right drift, but better than the strong left drift. I then recalibrated the stick with the Xbox Accessories app and suddenly it worked. No more drift. ♥️
