Remember that Nolan is just one of his kind and that there is a planet full of his kind out there. Which kind of explains why a coalition of planets are being formed to stop the empire in its track.

In theory, he can't because of superheroes, and also supervillains. Now, supervillains aren't exactly noble, but they probably don't want the world they're living on destroyed, and there's some at least strong enough to contest the Guardians. How convenient, then, that Omni-man has been eliminating supervillains alongside the Guardians for years now.

It definitely looked like a "tried-and-true" tactic he's used to wipe out planets before. Little bit on the scary side.

I do remember Nolan kind of F up their capital city and all major Flaxan cities in the comic. But I guess the more provincial and remote places are not taken notice which explains why the Flaxans survived.

This is why I love omni man because the show basically presented him as a superman kind of superhero but when he destroyed the planet he was just portrayed as a God of sorts.

Live action? It's obviously going to be nerf. But comics silver surfer can travel the whole universe in seconds. He's way too fast . Omniman isn't even faster than basic marvel beings. Thor , hulk , sentry , silver surfer all are much much faster than Omniman

You pretty much have to put a personal reality dampener on superpowered comic book beings since most comic book writers have only the most basic understanding of physics and the size of the universe. Take your own personal Superdude and give him every exception to the rules there is unlimited energy and power, invulnerable to anything body, all that. No matter how fast he was going he could always go faster even as from both his viewpoint and the outside universes viewpoint he would just be asymptotically approaching the speed of light, no matter how hard our Superdude pushed, from the outside it would still take him 10 years to go 10 light years. Now from Superdude's perspective it could be only a couple seconds, even though he would only see himself as approaching lightspeed also. Why, well the universe itself would seem to contract for him as time dilated. Fun fact: if a photon, an individual bit of light, were able to somehow record time it would record none since time does not happen to photons from their perspective. The same thing would happen to Superdude except that he, having mass, would never quite be able to get to lightspeed no matter his acceleration less and less time would happen to him. His kinetic energy would continue to increase as the sum of the energy spent except that more and more of that energy would be increasing his mass rather than increasing his speed. Oh and at these hyperfast speeds the void of space itself would become more and more dense. As the universe contracts in front of you, the very few particles and atoms that are floating around in interstellar or even intergalactic space would get closer and closer together eventually going form a near void to a seeming atmosphere, then to pea soup, then almost a solid and even approaching the seeming density of say neutronium for a Silver Surfer like speed. In other words a brick wall would have nothing on this. Superdude can hack it, but nothing else could. Another fun fact There was a detection of a particle that hit the atmosphere that had the energy of a baseball moving at 60 MPH. Not that impressive until you consider that this was probably a proton, a sub atomic particle that weights about one ten thousandth of a trillionth of an trillionth as much as a base ball. At the absurd speed this thing would have been going traveling 1.5 billion light years would seem to take only 1.7 days from it's perspective, mind you to us it would still take over 1.5 billion years to arrive. This is a bit of a problem because, as noted previously space is super dense at that speed and it seems very unlikely that even a proton could last very long in space as dense as it would have been and what the heck is close enough to us to throw something hard enough to hit that speed and still have the proton survive the journey. Even weirder shit could happen at even higher (but still sublight speeds). This one is notable since it happened in reality and not some theoretical thought experiment. So Superdude has all this kinetic energy that has to be bled off somehow (Presumably to where ever he got it from in the first place) but no matter what, from any perspective he would never go faster than light. Silver surfer could cross the 93 billion LYs of the observable universe in 93 billion years no matter how long it seemed to him. Mind you that in 93 billion years, the observable universe is likely to be many many times larger than 93 billion LYs. TLDR: You have to play fast and lose with any measurement of comic book style superheros as they all break reality constantly.
