Burt Bacharach el mejor compositor de la historia de la música
Love her!!
Chills! Hands down, Andy Williams, will always be remembered as one of the smoothest, most talented and versatile entertainers of his or anyone elses generation. As President Ronald Reagan once said, "Andy Williams is a National Treasure!" I, for one, whole-heartedly agree!
Probably...no This Is. My favorite.......it's just genius...❤❤❤.
The man was just plain brilliant. An amazing composer of intricate melodies, and fabulous arranger of an orchestra ❤️

Idiot comment.
RIP Roddy McDowall (1928-1998).
I heard this song for years on TV every week and even though Burt was my favorite composer I never knew he wrote this song until sometime in the late 1990s.
😁
Amo suas músicas Burt . Tenho todos os seus discos e não me canso de ouvi-los. Deus lhe abençoe Burt Bacharach. ❤
Siii, Burt Bacharach, un genio musical e inmortal ❤
I Should've Known It Was, The One And Only, The Great Musician of The 1960,s 70,s. Burt Bacarac, This Was Such a Beautiful Piece of Music He Made, Nikki 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The Man Was Great. Walk On By, What's It All About, Alfi. And So Many Other Great Pieces of Great Music. Truly Solid Gold R.I.P. Burt Bacarac 🙏🏻🌹
Fascinating! Thanks for sharing this, Ben.
Just about as good as it gets ...what a great singer.
Fantastique !!!
Amazing to see the process this master songwriter went through to achieve "his sound". So interesting and fun to watch.
Non ci sarà mai più un compositore come lui 😢
So True, That Was A Golden Era 🙏🏻👍🏻
There will never be another Burt Bacharach ...I pray he knew the Lord...and I meet him in Heaven one day...😇
Im so glad Burt has left us so much remarkable music to listen to...There will never be another Burt Bacharach....He was an extremely talented and handsome man ... I pray he became a Christian and the Lord saved him...I would like to see him in Heaven one day...😇
You Pray He Becomes aChristian ??? Why Would You Say Something Like That ??? The Man Was Born a Jew. And Nothing Can Ever Change That.🇺🇸🇮🇱 That's a Very Insulting Remark You Made. 👎🏻👎🏿👎🏻
This was great. It has always been a favorite song of mine.Very sad about their daughter. "Nikki, it's you Nikki, where can you be? It's you, no one but you for me I've been so lonely since you went away I won't spend a happy day Til you're back in my arms."
Such a great talent 👏
What I liked about him even as early as my 1960's childhood, HE was the one singer always willing to do a more modern song....o went like okay this guy isn't trying to be a teenager but he's bringing them in, to include them and say "your music is cool to me too." even if he jazzed it up like he did here. He once did Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In with the Osmonds on the his show around 1970....that was impressive to my 14 year old musical self . I said to my mom, "Hey, Andy's alright, he'll sing almost anything, not just the old stuff." She said "Watch it young man! Who are you callin' old? You're gonna get a spankin' if you keep that up!" Then we both laughed.
100 percent, @thomastimlin1724! Andy was very open to the pop music revolution in the 1960s and '70s and made several cool soft rock recordings, both covers and originals. Search my channel and check out his performances of Stevie Wonder's "Heaven Help Us All" (with Ray Charles, Cass Elliot, and Elton John), "Never Can Say Goodbye" (live in 2002), "Baby, It's You," and "Working On a Groovy Thing" (with The Temptations, Cass, and Don Ho). He loved a wide spectrum of genres and had a great feel for singing them and making them his own.
I said easy on the bones
He was so handsome & talented.❤
Thank you to whoever posted this amazing video into the making of this classic Bacharach composition. I often wondered who were the musicians that played on the song. Its so interesting.
LA VIDA ES SOLO UN MOMENTO......
Thank you for this. My dad was one of the violinists!
That's amazing! What a wonderful memento of your dad for you and your family! Did he ever discuss his experience taping this number and working with Andy Williams? The musicians were staged in a most unusual way that made for great television, but I imagine it wasn't easy to be spread out like this and also to be strolling on a narrow ramp while playing.
@@ben2715 He never talked about it, but then again, I was very little at the time. As for the violinists moving around the stage, I bet they didn’t struggle too much. They had a standing gig at The Sultan’s Table in the Dunes Hotel in Las Vegas, and strolling was their thing. I remember fountains with colored lights, a revolving stage, and all the violinists moving around the showroom while playing. Again, thanks for posting this. I never knew my dad was on the Andy Williams Show!
@@suzyrhinestone2352 Thank you so much for sharing these fascinating insights about your dad, his musical ensemble, and their connection to The Andy Williams Show, which won an Emmy that year (1962-63, its first of three).
Thanks for this as well as my father was also one of the violinists. He is the second from the right on the front row. His name is Paco Arechiga.
@@pacoa.6598 We were probably at the same kid birthday parties! Paco sounds familiar to me. I remember Arturo Romero, Lorenzo Gonzalez, Manuel Gonzalez, Clemente Lopez, Miguel Rosas. I remember some of the kids: Adriana, Anna, Carol, Miguelito, Mica, Danielle, Laura, Dito, Vicente. Sound familiar to you?
Anymore please
The iconic Pointer Sisters. Ruth Pointer is the absolute truth
Fr she never misses with them low notes
beautiful, remember this tune very well from my childhood, sunday nights movie theme, never knew that was by Burt.
fantastic!!
Gorgeous! I have tonnes of studio recordings of the Burt Bacharach/Hal David Dionne Warwick sessions (from Walk on By, onwards), where Dionne does repeated takes, as the track (I honestly don't know if the backup was sung at the same sessions, or not, because I'm recalling their booth was mic'ed as well, and I can hear the back-and-forth between them as I do with Ms Warwick, but, I really don't remember (the copies I was given - though not from the board, but, close to it - aren't degraded by being made from copies of copies, and the only thing they're missing is notes, i.e, who was in the booth (I can read an album, and from reading a released album's liner notes, and having a good ear (enough to recognise a specific session vocalist), but, the sessions - the 'pieces', so to speak, but, they don't say was AT a specific session. How, and where I got them from...well, I know WHEN I was given them (I WILL say when I was given the Bacharach tapes, my jaw hit the floor), and I know they're not available anywhere (I won't say WHO) gave them 🧐). The only problem (NOT with their sound quality), is, I don't have my tape system set up (it's still in its boxes for the past decade. Laziness, I'm sorry to say). Personally, I've been a lifelong collector of music, and I've been VERY fortunate to have known people who's artistry I'm a huge fan of (primarily the 60s - girl groups through British singers, and Burt's right in there), and I've collected a lot (I used to listen to much of it - I'd make eq'ed and edited cassettes from the raw tapes I received - on my Walkman (a Sony WM-DD100 Boodo Khan, which I STILL prize today... though I now listen to Hi-resolution mp3's, I DO sometimes use my Boodo Khan headphones which are STILL powerful as all heck).Sigh... On the tapes, there's tonnes of chatter between the booth and singers, Burt telling Dionne things he wants her to emote, etc, and I doubt it's available anywhere. I really don't have a problem sharing it with other people, like me (just as people, like Mr Spector gave me stuff, and honestly, I can't even tell, you why he and I hit it off - I'm much younger - male, and he was just a fun gentleman, who liked how interested I was in his creations...I, just simply love beautiful music, and sharing with others who are so ...curious, interested in how these amazing, legendary tracks came into existence (BTW; though I'm a fan, and acquaintance of the late Mr Phil Spector, and I DO have much unreleased stuff from his Gold Star days, I'm NOT the source who released a CD a few years ago of several of his tracks. Even though I say that, I'm not 'mad' whoever DID release it, as it shows his creative process on his most iconic tracks. On the other hand, I DO understand the artist's POV, that the Bacharach session tapes I have, and which can be heard o the Spector CD, show real music afficionados the 'magic', and how it's made, there IS a logic to saying, 'don't look behind the wizard's curtain', so to speak.
Stunning!
Whoa!!! Where did you find this?
Not his usual style number.
