I love these videos, honestly, the facts are amazing, but why do you and every other RUclipsr do the same voice to do them? Zero inflection, no emotion, but always a weird extended uptilt at the end of every sentence? Good fucking god almighty. Its like listening to a speak and spell.

I didnt get to play 5 empires til years later in high school. Big shout out to gamefly for that one. It was sensational and i honestly spent over 100 hours on it. The weapon select is beyond broken. Just equip throwing knives and use them on a group of peons. It tracks up hits incredibly fast, allowing instant muso.

Warriors Orochi 1 will always be one of my favorites for one reason: you can practically play with anyone in any stage and you will have special dialogues. After finishing the game like a hundred times I chose to use Nobunaga in a stage he wasn't even featured in any way and it had a special cutscene with Cao Cao.

Warriors Orochi 3 is eadily the worst in the series

For a long time this was the only game I had so I played the shit out of this as a kid. Good times. I was so shocked when I discovered that you unlock new characters when completing the campaign (for the first game) lol.

seeing that vol 2 footage brings so much nostalgia. I had so much fun with that game as a kid and with that character in the footage (forgot her name).

I hope 10 utilizes some of the hoard mode mechanics from the new Warhammer game, or like Days gone. That would be the way to make the "open world" concept of 9 work, tbf i wish they would implement like a nemesis system from Shadow of mordor also as this could add so much depth to a campaign where you don't always kill a captain or general, or vice versa where you forced to "retreat" Beyond that Its still one of the better hack and slash titles (the older ones for sure).

Long Time ago we got as a general our own guards. You remeber how you can train them, and at least they were also generels. So you dont have too fight, it was so funny

Samurai Warriors 2 and its expansions are the best for me. If only Empires came out after XL, we could've played as Toshiie, Gracia, Kojiro, and Katsuie with their new weapons

7 is in no way a C 7 is a big A it's the only one loyal to the book with an amazing soundtrack and introduced the change weapons system. The lowest it can go is B simply because musous mode didn't have all characters and there was no free mode.

DW3 is where I started at when I was a kid - it was probably the first game I truly no-lifed and loves for YEARS. To this day, I still haven't officially 100% it fully because of a few items, but have maxxed every playable character and gotten all 4th weapons. I felt it was an excellent balance of challenge and feeling OP as a legendary warrior. The peons were still a threat to you, but without being tanks so it felt like every one could die easily in basttle - even most generals. When I used to play on hard mode, it felt like you really had to try to keep your team alive, and play the objective somewhat and not just do your own thing for too long.

im playing dw5xl now. brings back lots of memories. I used to play 6 a lot too xd

Thank you so much for the video, I like musou games but I was clueless of dynasty series, ( only knew it was from koei tecmo.) Being also in passion with video games it was a great travel for me. Ty for the effort you put. You really explained well imo. Also you are/were also brave for playing all of theses games + feedbacks. 💪

I fucking loved DW8: Empires, maybe because it was the first game I've played a DW game since DW5 (I think). Just seeing the words Dynasty Warriors made me bought the game instantly because I remember playing a DW game on the PS2 as a child and remembered all the fun I had in it due to it being a hack and slash. As of last year, I platinum'd the game and that's shows how much I really had fun with the character creation.

watched this to decide if I should buy WO4 or not and I guess not aside from the new addition of characters the UI sucks. WO3 is great but I think nothing can beat WO2 for me, the feeling when you can play as the Orochi faction and be OP after beating the guy at WO is unmatchable.

Seems like 5s destiny mode was just a dumbed down version of empires

3 and 4 were the best...

DW6 felt like what was the beginning of the end for me. It was still enjoyable but there was definitely a shift in their approach to DW that I can't really put my finger on, I think became more about quantity of playable characters > improving game design. After that DW just became more and more unfun, production felt cheaper with each passing game.

Man, I remember being blown away playing a demo of DW3 at my local walmart back when I was a kid. Since then I’ve been a pretty big fan. 5 was probably the one I put the most hours in, except for maybe 8XL.

Speed Characters could animation cancel by jumping to stop vulnerabilities from strings. It could save your life. Not to mention you could double jump some obstacles.

I’m late but I wanted to add. DW4 should be S with the soundtrack alone lol. MASA was a master musician and I love quite a few of his tracks throughout the series
