I was raised in the church and had to walk away from everything I knew. I try not to think in terms of personal judgment on any person but collectively there simply wasn't any principle there. Decisions were made to preserve wealth and power. Weak, vulnerable and abused people were simply stepped over. I realize that not every church is like this but religion at the national level is a disgrace. It's everything Jesus preached against.

No Allah, so everyone just have peace and no one in the world kill anymore, including you, IDF. If you hate, it's because you are unhealthy and need to seek help; it's not because "the devil made you do it." If you love, it's because you are real about it, and it's not out of some need for Heaven or some fear of Hell. You make a mistake? It's because you're a biological organism, it's not because you're inherently "evil." Go say sorry, make up for it, then make friends with your enemies and move on together in this life - not because someone "made" you or "told you to" (including me), but because you like being a decent human being and you're OK with not being perfect. You can stop worrying about making some "God" out there cry. There is no "god." And yes, you came from a species who evolved, not from apes, but from a common ancestor shared by both - and that's OK. Could there have been a "God?" Sure! But there isn't. The question has been settled, at least to the point of knowing that if there is, then for real, that "God" doesn't care, doesn't listen, etc. That's just as good as not existing at all, for all practical purposes and intents, because if there were a "God" worth dealing with or even thinking about, then Trump would have been a changed man and a better President after a genuine prayer like that, prayed over him by someone who he would probably have imprisoned these days, if he could. A loving, worthy God would have answered that prayer in the affirmative; 100%. That's what the Bible teaches. The idea that "sometimes God says 'No'" isn't in the Bible and that's not what it teaches at all; that's just a convenient cop-out by people who can't let themselves believe what's going on for real. Such people would be the first ones to unalive Jesus - the one who works in our fields, who believes in the Catholic Jesus, and who prays every day for their best interests. Not only is there no "God" but the effect of a belief in that "God" in particular is what takes a wrecking ball to life and love in this world, and I'm most certainly done with entertaining the notion that any of it is entirely real. This video is all the concrete evidence any Atheist needs, and it stands here forever as a guardian of that fact. Anyone who believes there's a God after this, anyone who EXCUSES such a belief, is brainwashed and giving their money to swine.

What is hidden about the history of this country, that a modicum of applied critical thinking would not reveal? Has anyone put it more simply and succinctly, than the late George Carlin, who said "America was founded by people who wanted to be free, but who owned slaves"? The root of White supremacy, which really is the idea of White-hegemony, is in seeing so many non-White people who, were living with outdated technology, especially weapons. How could they not feel superior? How could their children, all these centuries, not, at least subconsciously, develop a sense of superiority and privilege, when in growing up, seeing the level of disparities that exist, between White people and non--White people, especially Black people? If anyone is really not willing, to at least ask this question, they can't really be trying to solve these disagreements/problems we have. The reality is that humanity is due reparations, for the historic inhumanity we have inflicted on each other. A fair global economic system, would reflect us doing this, but us giving ourselves a peace-dividend, would even more directly reflect, us giving ourselves reparations. I can't understand why, people of religious faiths, especially their leadership, aren't collectively, calling for us to do this. The same is true for all people who think of themselves as being good, fair, and sensible.

As long as the black African American thinks he is superior to his his black African ancestors and brothers in Africa/Asia he deserves the White House and what comes with it.
