hi, i want to ask, do you have to do 2 stitches-ch2-2 stitches in the chain 2 space? what if i want to use half double crochet? does the pattern still same?

Hello, love this tutorial. ❤ One question, when i make this i followed exactly and it turned out right but at the very end, the instructions says to do 18 sc before doing the corner however in the squares i've done, there were 17 st between. What did i do wrong exactly? Bc it looks the same as yours. Thanks for the video :)

Great tutorial! I only started crocheting 3 weeks ago and have only made a handful of granny squares and coasters, but it was very easy to slow the video down and just copy each stitch- I feel like I’ve learned all the stitches and how to do them from just this one video- and I’m really happy with how my sun turned out! 🌞 🩵 thanks so much for the great video- I will definitely be sticking around for more!!

Tip to anyone making these I've found that tying cast on and cast off ends together makes the part between the tops of the heart more pronounced
