Nice work and very good shape of new handle. A lot of handwork. I'm only surprised how thin the tang of SRK is. I just don't trust knives with such a thin tangs. I prefer fulltangs or at least tang wider by the blade and narrower to the end.

Great handle. I personally would have preferred peening on the pommel rather than threading it on, but I’m also a sucker for that

Tengo varias navajas con la bola de retención, una solución seria la del video de antoniomarquez, aunque me parece mas radical, ya que si te pasas con la lima dejas de retener la hoja, y si no tienes que estar probando varias veces hasta que la dejes ajustada... (mucho tiempo). Mi solución y me funciona, es rápida y duradera, si se pone resistente la apertura otra vez lo vuelves a hacer... desmontas y en el hueco donde iría la bola de retención pones un TROCITO DE PAPEL, servilleta, folio... humedecido con agua o del mismo aceite de lubricacion que uses, ese papel es mínimo, una bolita minima, al entrar en el hueco la aprietas con algo, destornillador, la punta de la navaja. Con el uso la propia bola va comprimiendo ese papel, haciendo que esta no entre completamente en el hueco, permitiendo la apertura mucho mas facilmente... probadlo y comentad (si quereis... ).

Por ke hacen cuchillos de pala tan ancha,no son prácticos,no serían mejor con la pala mas estrecha?

Ja es stimmt, die Grünen sind Heuchler aber ich sage dir genau auf Zeiten wie diese warten alle die weit rechts stehen seit 1945! Man glaubt die AFD ist eine Alternative zu allen anderen Parteien aber das dachte Mann von Hitler auch. Das sind Wölfe im Schafspelz und man darf ihnen nicht trauen!!! This is a great video and it turned out beautifully. I just got the srk c and it has a noticeably thinner handle… I thought it was going to be the exact same but with a shorter blade but I was wrong. And I can’t really hold it properly because I have a permanent injury to my knuckles. I’m thinking a leather stacked handle is the only way to go to make it better. I’d do this for my full srk too but I’m nervous about wrecking it. The compact is a good Guinea pig because I can’t really do much with this knife until it has a fatter handle. I’m a sucker for natural materials, so while the srk handle is good, grippable and will last for generations, it just doesn’t please me aesthetically like a natural material like wood or leather (or micarta, but micarta looks almost natural) does.
