You can believe that, but historically speed is always king. The build kills everything and proliferation kills everything I dont need corpsewade to kill. I need movement speed to get around, 85% of the time I spend in a map is spent just walking.

@@alexknight1361 I'll look into it but I don't think that the clear would be much better. Thanks for the suggestion though.

@@Marco-jm8ve 10 stacks definitely not necessary. Not dying is definitely necessary, rare gloves are more defenses. I don't drop scattershot? Evasion and energy shield give you large EHP. CI is chaos inoculation. Shocking a boss = 20% more damage.

Currently a bit bricked with progression since i can't buy anything from trade site (coz of the divine orb bonanza) and starting to die sometime in tier 6 maps (current gear is around lvl 45-48) the only thing i dislike about the game is that i expected to drop a bit more stuff from maps. Basically since i started my ranger i dropped probably 2 good items for my build, everything else had to buy

corrosion does nothing for gas arrow, its only there to scale toxic growth damage. You can still easily buy gear that are upgrades and yes, trade is a big part of the game if you're not SSF.

neither, you should be using rare gloves not unique gloves.

@@Lokati_gaming if you're not scaling with physical OR elemental, then how do you scale damage? i dont think you understood what i said. I assume you think scaling poison with physical is better, considering you have a physical damage bow and flat damage on your rings/quiver wtc?

I assumed you meant the snakebite vs the plaguefinger, either way gloves are a source of defenses not a huge source of offenses so I would focus on that.

you can get widowhail passed 300% and each node bit of percentage helps because you can get increase to bow skill damage and increase to damage on a quiver and all the attackspeed etc, max i have seen so far is 500% ish quiver bonus , and also idk if bowskill damage should effect it but it is

Widowhail also scales quiver attack speed and +damage with bow skills (currently works with pconc) so even at equal gem levels to a +5 bow, Widowhail is better.

yes bow skill damage is affecting pconc after extensive testing, average damage per poison after 50+ attempts was 24k without a quiver and 38k with a quiver with bow skill damage.

@@Davaoization corpsewade is not worth giving up rare boots

Corpsewade is good at clear, and it scales with enemy health. The more health enemy has, the stronger you are. You can just switch to rare when you are in a bossfight. It is just about 4 squares in your inventory.

corpsewade has almost no movement speed, it is not good at clear. It makes your clear much slower by virtue of you having to crawl the entire map.

corpsewade has 10% movement speed, movement speed = clear thus corpsewade =/= good clear.

Not sure, freeze is really good and they buffed the scaling so could be interesting with shatter but single target would be a issue to solve potentially

50% quiver = +1 skill level so 220 widowhail + 80 on tree = 300 270 widowhail +80 on tree = 350 275 widowhail + 80 on tree + 3 15% jewels = 400 etc..

int on amulet, all attributes on amulet, int on boots, int on tree, dex from quiver modified by quiver bonuses so I can not get dex from tree. If you go to maxroll you can see the gearing.

Poison concoction is an unarmed attack and thus does not scale off your weapon, so the damage is irrelevant It is a projectile attack that does chaos damage, physical damage nodes are more or less useless although they would scale phys damage from the quiver, rings and gloves, but that is a very small comparison to the chaos base damage of the unarmed attack. Clear is worse in QOL not in strength, gas arrow is just faster and larger area of effect but pconc is 2-5x the damage of gas arrow depending on your gear. That doesn't mean gas arrow is bad its very good, just different.

@Lokati_gaming thank you so much for clarification. It would only make sense that concotion would be more powerful in damage at least, cause its an ascendancy skill. Also gas arrow has better aoe makes sense, cause the cloud grows and spreads.

I prefer hybrid evasion/es and currently run 15k evasion, a little under 2k life, a little under 4k ES & almost 8k es with grim feast. I might consider CI if I can break 5.5k ESA with 15k evasion.

Gas arrow is bad without scattershot/comorbidity/deadly poison, and you can only run the support in one skill.

Gas arrow is an attack with no flat scaling, would do pretty garbage damage with the projectile gem level scaling as well.

@tewkyelgn with a regular bow, you mean? Perhaps on weapon swap? Sure. I'll believe Widowhail gas arrow clear when I see a video of it, shit has the attack damage of a level 30 leveling bow with the quiver pictured in the video.

@Lokati_gaming oh she does, we are both lvl 56, just can't get a good bow for her. Been using elemental dmg buffs to poison but will respec to full Phys and yea just follow your build :)

Bursting plague is zero single target DPS it only helps clear and we don't need clear.

Pathfinder is not the strongest ascendancy but can do all of the content in the game. I'm not sure what you mean by lilith test? I didn't have any issues with bosses, come by twitch and I'll see if I can help more.

More levels and probably a much better phys bow will make a huge difference, barrage can also quickly apply a full stack of poison

Its not necessary to run every int gem at level 20, you can down level them to the stats you can achieve, the suffixes for res can be replaced with suffixes for stats to get the desired level of resistances and stats necessary.

I'm not a huge fan of it because it makes evasion more rng against ranged proj spam which is the most deadly thing to us.

Any expert bow is acceptable, zealot bow is just better by a small margin. Every single stat is increased on the quiver with the tree. Corrupted items can get an additional socket, which means more base stats. These are just examples of how good the items can get, they are not what I am using just what we should be working towards. I do not believe that the acrobatics node is worth it, you will just get melted by degens and one-shots that you dont evade. You need the extra buffer of high ES. Projectile damage does affect poison and we did stack quite a bit of projectile damage on the tree. Getting all of it is not neccesary though.
