Misty - Jazz Guitar Performance
Here's an arrangement of the classic standard 'Misty' - there are tons of great recordings out there, but the one I first heard a few years ago was Johnny Mathis' version; the sound of which is definitely an inspiration here. I decided to create a subtle 'trio' style backing track for this rendition, adds a little juice and fills out the solo section. I also tend to play rubato a lot so the backing keeps me in check!
Thanks for watching.

Use Somebody - Kings of Leon - Jazz Guitar Arrangement
Просмотров 724Год назад
I've always had a soft spot for this song. The crunchy power chords, soaring ethereal melodies, Caleb's yearning vocals and lyrics full of longing. Here's a solo guitar arrangement with a fair bit of reharmonization, exploring some chromatic movement in the bass and attempting to capture some of the nuance of the orginal song by using harmonics for the hook. As usual, I've opted for fingerstyle...

An arrangement of this absolute classic that I put together back during the first lockdown in the UK. It was a toss-up between acoustic or electric for this one, the fingerstyle playing being at home on the acoustic but i thought this song really shines with a little drive from the tube amp. Let me know what you think! Also, if anyone is interested in tabs for this let me know in the comments a...
please make a tutorial
Oui merveilleux cest super beau alors oui je serai intéressé par votre tablature si vous voulez bien car cest vraiment très joli votre approche voici mon mail etiennelopez9@gmail.com Merci beaucoup et encore bravo 😎
how did you roll the guitar into the reverb instrument you're playing?
Good question, I thought about going with a 100% wet signal but decided there should have atleast been a hint of attack in there.
Beautiful performance....may I have the chords please? It's for my son who wants to play the song for his late grandpa. Thank you
Misty is one of those numbers that should be given a rest for a while.
Surprise by your talent bro insane arrangement
Thanks man!
Insane! very well played. How do you get that tone from a hx stomp?
Fine!!!
smooth as silk!
Awesome, that Nashville looks great as well
I love your arrangement, super sound for the Tele, hard to believe no amp! Well done!
Thank you! I still love playing through a real amp occasionally but the HX stomp is my daily driver these days and has been for quite a while.
Beautiful rendition of one of my favorite standards. Well done! And I agree...no one does it like Johnny Mathis! You really captured that vibe here quite well.
Beautiful! Do you sell the backing track? Thanks.
Really Great Man.❤❤❤
Amazing, Excellent Performance! subscribed.
This sounds great, thanks for sharing! What albums would you say have this style of guitar playing?

Very nice sound! Dear Matt, you used Fender Nashville Deluxe Telecaster from Mexico or american model?
I expected a dryer tone, the playing is excellent, great job!
Favorite version of this I’ve heard, hopefully many more songs and arrangements to hear in the future.

soo soothing and nice. awesome~!
You took much from Gianluca Mantovanelli! But you added your touch lovely. So fresh, so clean! Soft and cloudy! Superb interpretation, bravissimo!
Wow, what a great spot! Luca's an incredible player, I love the way he approaches the B section so couldn't resist borrowing a little to try and add it into my own vocabulary. Glad the rest of it passed the vibe check, thanks!
Another beautiful work. I'd love to hear any original compositions you might have.
