that depends on what you are using, to put together a game, you need a Game SDK (Software Development kit) These are some below, Unity 3D (I use this one) CryEngine Unreal Engine (or UDK) and maybe a lot others, some people can even make there own Game SDKs I've seen

well, I am a game designer myself, don't forget, it said in the video you need to use programming, and it can take a while learn depending which programming langue you use, I use C# for instance, it take at least 6 months or a year to learn that langue, so it can take a few months to make a game, but I get your point kind of, :)

Why won't people look at the date and just see that this video and the game in it was made in 2006....and btw what you are looking at is one of the best games of its time and could still kick ass if it was brought to next gen consoles/pc because unlike loads of games this had a great story, gameplay etc......... lol you guys seem to know nothing about classics.

After seeing this, I have definitely decided that video games are worth the $60 i pay for them. I want these people getting paid a ton because all of that design looks shitty.

Of course they are using software lol.. They can use whatever software that they like, 3dsMAX, Maya, lightwave, cinema 4d.. They can also write their own engine or use an existing one.

After watching this, I as a gamer am feeling bad for borrowing some games and not paying for them now..Just look how much work these sons of b**ches did to make this one game. Damn!

Now a days, all you need to make a video game is: 1-To be a pretty good artist. 2-Learn to animate. 3-Be a pretty good musician. 4-Be good at math. 5-Have good memory. 6-Have the internets help. 7-Have time. That's it. With this you can make a professional looking game in a month.
