Metropolis -- Student project fan edit/dub RE-UPLOAD
The previous upload had the last 6 minutes cut off for some reason. I re-ripped it and this time only about 10 seconds of audio at the end was cut off.
Student project while I was at Kansas State 2002. I was just starting to learn about working with audio and video so there's some parts that aren't very good. It's amazing how some of the themes from this video later showed up as major factors in my real life.
I felt that music from the band Trio suited the film very well. No infringement intended.

Minmei VS Lisa -- original, unaltered student edit project!
Просмотров 1084 года назад
A student editing project while I was attending K-State. I love Robotech and this was a great way to bring that into my schoolwork. I recently re-watched Robotech and was amazed at how close my Minmei and Lisa mirrored the original. My dear son Zac uploaded this to his channel but blurred out the credits. This is unaltered.
Happy Drum Land - Student film
Просмотров 574 года назад
Student film where I am in front of the camera instead of behind it (where I belong). I sing and play a scottish/irish drum, my bodhran, performing the folk songs Queen of Argyle and The Little Beggerman. It was a lot of fun. I don't remember who the host of the show was. He was a fellow student at Kansas State University. Ripped from the VHS copy they gave me at the end of the class.

Home movie I made with my family back in 2002, I think. Just learning to shoot video with my little JVC compact VHS camera. I never realized how I was going to be moving on to bigger and better things!

Home movie I shot with my kids while we were spending the summer in Provo, UT, 2002 I believe. I just bought a Totally Awesome Computer for editing video and shot this as practice. Plus it was a lot of fun.

Documentary that I made while a mass communication student at Kansas State University 2002. I was just learning how to make videos and there's a lot of video artifacts I didn't know how to deal with. But I did the best I could with the tools I had. Funny story: This video was playing on the campus cable channel. I was in the department office and my advisor was telling me why she thought this w...

I made this promotional video back when I was in college, about 2003. The flag is flying half-mast for the crew of the space shuttle Collumbia who died the week before this was shot. Unfortunately, I found out a couple years later that the business had shut down and the owner had moved on to something else.

Hymn to Breaking Strain EPIC VERSION CJ Cherryh tribute
I have a signed copy of MUSTANG. I’m so blessed. I’ve had it since 1968.
Per Malm -- you are a DIAMOND. i cant thank you enough for preserving and sharing this <3 <3 <3
this feels like a song from an old pokemon game, like gen 3-5
This honestly feels like some 90's training video for an obscure company!

I love nativities! I got about 3 of them!
Mesmo ritmo de Amor Sem Fim de Grupo Cali
I had CT-657 and my cousin had Ct-680. Both were great for their time. 680 had a pitch wheel but this one hasn’t, I think yours was a newer model.
Excellent to hear this - thanks very much for making it available.
Wonderful poem by Rudyard Kipling, it makes for a lovely song.
Oh my! This recording makes my heart happy. I last heard Marguerite Henry’s voice in the 1990s when we talked on the phone. I wrote her a fan letter as a child, and she wrote back! We were friends until she passed in 1997. Truly a remarkable soul. I miss her still, but am truly thankful for our years of friendship.

Casio Ct 700 Released : 1992
An absolute treasure. Thank you so much for posting this. I have never heard Marguerite speak before. She was such an incredibly talented author.
Oh my goodness. When I was little my grandma has this electric piano in the basement in her work room. It was a big room and had a rocking chair & desks/a craft area for the grandkids and 2 desks in the corner with two computers & everything. We spent so many hours in that room, crafting, playing on the 2nd computer while my grandma worked, playing games, doing worksheets, watching the old box tv, learning piano, and listening to this song haha. Those were good times.
Such an awesome Demo song! Love it so much!
Who are the Meet the Authors interviewers? I can’t find the source for these author interviews. Thank you!

When I was between ten and eleven years old I found a whole shelf (or two) of William O' Steele books in the library at the elementary school I was attending in 1972, thereabouts. I wrote to the author as a library class project during the next year of library class at the school and he wrote me back. I have long time lost the great letter from Mr. Steele. A friend of mine gave me 3 original copy books as a gift for last Christmas. (Flaming Arrows, The Perilous Road, and Trail Through Danger). Now I want to find and read them all again!
I have a small collection of William O' Steele books. I read some of them when I was a kid and bought them and more as an adult. I really liked his adventure books when I was young in the mid seventies. I found one of his books by chance at my junior high school library. I own: Flaming Arrows The Lone Hunt The Year of the Bloody Sevens Winter Danger The Perilous Road The Buffalo Knife Wilderness Journey Tomahawks and Trouble Desoto Child of the Sun The Far Frontier
I hear so much vaporwave potential from this!
Mestres de Sabotagem
Love King of the Wind and all of her other books
My Dad bought this in 1992 for my mom (I was only 1 year old). I took classes when I was a kid and it still sits in my room at mom’s house. It works like it’s brand new 🤣 I live in a another country now and nostalgia kicked in pretty hard right now 💕
can't believe that's a 1992 keyboard! my keyboard is from 1998 and sounds worse than that one 😭
My CT-700 was given to me by my grandmother, I'm much older now, but my little brother still uses it on occasion after I purchased a new power cord for it as the old one was long since lost.
Thanks for posting this. The book Journey Outside really left an impression on me and I’ve been wanting to learn more about Mary Steele ever since
dude, this is cool
Chord progression anyone?
So does this song have a name? I’ve been playing with my kid and we wanna know what song it is cause we love it!
I just tried identify on musixmatch and came up with nothing. So I guess the name is "Demo"
It doesn't have a name other than simply being known as Casio CT-700 Demo Song. I have also uploaded the demo song from my Casio CT-700 even though the quality is not quite as good as this video but please feel free to download it as an mp3 file.
First?
was that rick hunter i saw on the home page? this version is amazing
Thank you for posting this!
Man, it's been 25 years since I last heard this song. Used to turn on the keyboard as a kid and just listen to this song since I didn't know how to play. Such good memories.
I love it, man. I never realized Cherryh had so many novels.
Meu primeiro teclado foi um desse, ct 700 cassio.
This keyboard gave me so much joy way back, it was my first owned keyboard. One of the earliest Casio Keyboard with touch response function and also with the beautiful original demo song...
This has to be my favorite version of this song.
Didn't want to like because it was at 42
Now it's 62
now it’s 69
This keyboard was passed down to me and I remember playing this with my sister all the time
Thank you for this recording. I love her books and her beautiful drawings so much. One of the saddest things is hearing her talk longingly about Uncle Marton (The Good Master) who is back in Hungary and with whom she can no longer communicate.
I made the mask but it is too big for my face. Can't get it to fit tight enough under eyes, so no for flaps don't work.
I had this keyboard as a kid, it took years to find this. It brings back so many warm memories❤️
CE PART SPIRITUAL NO CONVERTION
This song put me to sleep at night as a child, and what started my interest in music. Honestly makes me feel so nostalgic.
This is really interesting. I want to try this and see if it works for me. I have had no luck with any "fog free" patterns.
This is the mask I really want to make. I wear glasses, and have that problem.
Can you please send us the pattern.
Will these parabolas work on other designs as well. I find the Olsen design doesn't fit but the pattern I use has a similar shape when finished.
Hey Celia .. I'm just seeing this now! Awesome! So far, my masks (and I'm a glass wearer) have been good. I'm making up a lot of ones lately for T1D's all around the world. Noticed you're an insulin addict like myself LOL ... I'm at Level 54, and work in the diabetes education area all around the world. Stay healthy! And google FatCatAnna ... you'll find my scribbles all over the place!
