Winged Hussars were equipped BETTER than your fantasy kningts, most of them being true lords of their lands with all the money needed to gather the full equipement. The discepency between a peasant warrior from the east and a Polish soldier was so big, Hussaria won battles being outnumbered by magnitudes. We carried this tradition to WWII. Look up Battle of Wizna, Polish Thermopilae.

Most of the songs/artists here aren't well known at all... It's apparently something that teens listen to, and that's what all these kinds of lists are based on - views on RUclips, Spotify, etc. But almost none of it ever appears on the radio or at music festivals; no one over 20 really talks about it. There are some exceptions, of course - Sanah, Dawid Podsiadło, Sylwia Grzeszczak are some of the actually big names. From rap, Taco Hemingway, Quebonafide (or them together- Taconafide), and now Mata are those that are more "universal," well known even to people who don't sit in the rap bubble. Maybe Sobel and Tymek as well. Rock is generally well loved by Polish people; however, our rock golden age ended in the early 2000s. For Polish rock, you should check things from the '80s and '90s. There are some cool rock artists nowadays - Zalewski, Organek, and Igo also does a cool mixture of pop and other genres, etc., but they rarely end up on these lists (even though they are played on the radio, unlike most of those artists here, hehe). For example "Ekipa" that appears here several times- also under different names, as the individual people - was just a group of RUclipsrs who decided to make some songs. They were never "popular" in the musical sense, they were just influencers that kids were watching on YT, so it explains all the views and likes. But in general they were just considered cringe and something that nobody older than 14/15 years old would take seriously.

Sobieski had Winged Hussars under his command which was the best cavalry of that time. For them being outnumbered only twice was not a big deal. Compared to other battles like Hodow where there was 400 Winged Hussars against 40 000 Crimean Tatars it was like piece of cake.
