Big Al's Hot Dance Orchestra on Cable Access TV in Denton Texas, 1983, lead by Alan Gresik. All then students of North Texas State University. (Now University of North Texas)
So good! Such wonderful memories of all y'all! Thanks, Pam, for sending the link. K
Wow !!! A Chris Lay sighting !!! Whatever happened to him?
Who was Chris in the video? I remember the name.
@@saxdude6419 Slim trombone player with glasses on the left side of the section, as you are facing it. He's a lawyer now, and still plays.
How bout that,The Tower Outasight as always.
I was there too. What a great concert!!! Thank you for the clip!!!!
I was there, awesome concert !!!
Sir Ringo Starr has unveiled 500 life-size statues of his well-known "Peace and Love" hand gesture which he intends to sell online for charity. 13:00 [BBC]
"Drumming is my middle name." 10:20 Ringo Starr
In 1986 , I was at North Texas State University ,and 24 years old
John Carlson on lead Tenor!!
Thanks for sharing this. Flashback in time! Great group of artists 😊
MAN OH MAN, doe4s that taker me back!!! That was a GREAT band! Some of Chicago's finest.
I got my ticket. 29 Oct 23 in Hartford.
Jerry Cortez slinging a 335 style guitar vs the Les Paul. Great guitar player.
Can't wait to see them in November. They certainly still got the FUNK
une des moins bonne formation de toto
Steve is still the Man!
Toto war mal richtig gut, hat aber den richtigen Zeitpunkt verpasst, aufzuhören.
* Steve Lukather* 2:30 / 25:46 *IS A MASTER* *CATER*
Sput is killin' it, man! Holy crap! Need to see this band incarnation live!! Fantastic mix tape, THANKS!!
Usual great playing from Steve and fab vocals from Joe
This sucks.
Lots of musicians lose their fire as they age-resting on their laurels to the point of having their distinct style disappear. Not Lukather. The cat still smokes and tears up the fretboard with the fervor of a 20-year old. Humble (and funny) as hell, too.
this is wonderful, thank you :)
I remember taking drum lessons from their drummer. Wow! Was he good!
I remember seeing this band back in the late 60's(?) or early 70's in the cellar of a small hotel in Santa Ana They hadn't :made it yet but their name was growing. I absolutely fell in love with the blues-funk sound. Glad to see they are still around. Felt the same about the Average White Band sound.
Man!!!
Would love to these guys one more time. The first and last time I saw them was in 1973. My very first concert at 13 years old. Never seen them as an adult.
It really the original members, but, they do what they do. Lenny Williams is still alive and still sings like it was yesterday!
Best live Band ever !
I see the old head Tower of Power folks in the back, playing
Tower of Power did a "all evening" in Larvik/Norway in 1992, arranged by the legendary "Cafe Hansen" in Larvik. I was there, 27 years old...I'm specially amazed how Doc Kupca still gives colours on his Barython Saxophone, still sounds like 1973:) Thanks to that Legend!:)
I love this song. Diggin on James Brown.
we got a BASS sax going on now!
Не саксофон бас,а саксофон баритон.😊
Heyyyyyyyyy
Here we go now!!!These brothers got the horns going on, baby now!
baby now! Play it!!
Blondes have more fun!!
Luke rocking with his white hair. I'm happy seeing em play again and sadat the same time seeing em getting older
Luckater, wilhians, Porcaro and cia i love God save ToTo legends lives ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Rosanna was played to fast
Legends! Still going strong in the face of so much personal tragedy, bless them!
Mark vW grooving his ass off on the bass. Incredible player.
So cool to see Emilio and Doc Still playing some of the best funk ever. Miss Rocco on bass . Thanks posting this
Luke is the King.
Lukather looks like George Washington ... But they sound great with Sput ...
Great vid! I was there but upper level. Loved that show. Journey was pretty good once the singer got his vocal pitch under control Toto was amazing. Period!
I've seen recent videos of both Joe Satriani and Eric Johnson where they seem to have lost some of their dexterity and fluidity. Neither is true of Lukather - he still plays like he did 30 years ago.
Luke is an awesome artist! He’s a composer with an amazing ear. Can’t get enough
Steve mutates optically a troll. Cut your tinny hair like others do in that age 😂 By the way. Toto's Hydra was my first LP i bought. Long long time ago 😢
Thanks to the horrible management at Boardwalk Hall Atlantic City i only saw their last 4 songs. I was devastated. I went for Toto not Journey. The little I saw was incredibly. They need to take the Beatles song out of the set. Didn't care for that.
