How to boot hp laptop from USB drive to install Windows 10 11 or Linux operating systems. This is Hp ProBook 430 G2 laptop, in this laptop sometimes USB boot option not shows, you have to enable the USB boot from the bios.
In this video I am gonna show you how to install a fresh Windows 10 or 11 in a Hp ProBook 430 Laptop from bootable USB drive. By enable the boot device from the bios. This is very easy guys just follow what I did.
The boot menu key of an Hp probook laptop is generally F9 button and for bios is F10, this method may be same in other models like 450, 440, 530 etc.

I hope this helps somebody: I was trying to remove S mode from an Asus and thought that installing Windows again was the answer, which brought me to this video. But for me, there was no option for CSM or anything. In the end, removing S mode involved typing in "Windows Update" in the taskbar and then MANUALLY updating all the software that the laptop hadn't actually installed automatically. After this, the S mode disabler in the microsoft store worked ok.

typing "start msconfig" tells me that it can't fin msconfig!
type only "msconfig" ok it will work.
@@DigitalDope that did not help either. What did help was: bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot. Now the command "shutdown.exe /r" won't work. Neither does help without ".exe" or changing the last part to "/s"

@@gasbike100mpg Just look for some boot options there must be a similar setting, if you can tell me the exact model i'll try finding it for you.
@@DigitalDope i gave up on installing windows on my crappy cheap asus, i read many forums and concluded taht it would not support anything past windows 10, or even windows 10 install. blessng in disguise actually, i found a work around that worked out better than planned and went back to linux with install of latest mint. thanks for the reply, keep up the great work.

CSM option is not available in Intel Coffee Lake processors, try disabling quick boot.

Where? in the bios or in the OS installation page?
I Got it. I had to disable the VMD in the Bios. Took me 5 hours of troubleshooting to figure it out.

Yes the Method Works, Thanks... But I have a laptop and I want to configure close LIB to Hibernate. How can i do that? Kindly help @Digital Dopes sir.
When you go to the power options inside the control panel in windows 11, you will find a tab "choose what closing the LID does" click on it and select Hibernate under the "when I close the LID:" option. As I showed in the video, apply hibernate action on the power button. After following the steps, your laptop will hibernate whenever you close the LID.
