tough episode. i would've preferred if they stayed around for a few more episodes before getting killed. it would've made it that much more moving. they honestly could've split the first game into two seasons. by the end of next year if they don't release a new game the show's gonna outpace the source material, which is never good.

that's one of the nice things about this show. it's a zombie show but the way its done, there's something fresh and unique about it. it still surprises you but in a good way. the writing, dialogue, and directing are all so grounded, mature, and realistic, which makes it more captivating than other shows/movies of the same genre

You guy's should watch PS5 Spider-Man 1-2 and Miles Morales. People has edited the cut scens like a movie. But you would have to break it up bc there 5+ hours.

Spider-ham has been around since the 80's, I had some Spider-ham comics when I was kid.

I don't know if Hahn is also part of the MCU thru Spiderverse. But I guess she's MCU adjacent. I think it's just Agatha.

One more side note. DC did an animated movie involving the Justice League in an alternate universe a few years ago. It was called CRISIS OF THE INFINITE EARTHS. The voice casting in that was first-rate as well.

The design for the Kingpin is based on the Frank Miller novel. Bill Seinkeiwicz is the illustrator who gave him an exaggerated appearance. The graphic novel is LOVE AND WAR and makes great use if the Kingpin's presence and influence as a villain. As an animated movie, this works to pay tribute to his comic book roots and give a nod to the artist. In my 66 years on this earth, this was THE most fantastic illustration in animation I have ever seen. Until the sequel did it one better. I'll be here for your reaction to that modern masterpiece of visual genius. Keep going and enjoy the movie.

Miles jumping off the building and falling and them showing it upside down to show his ascension was genius.

Kevin bacon was in X-Men First class as the villain. He was stronger than magneto and used Nuclear energy as power.

So the black Deadpool suit covered in Soot was a reference to the time Deadpool used a Stealth Suit. Was kinda cool seeing it here.

My favorite detail in this movie is in Miles’ leap of faith. He still has doubts, and that is beautifully visualized by the breaking glass. He was still nervous and thus still stuck to the glass, but forced himself to leap nonetheless. This is still the most stunning animated film I’ve ever seen.

Amazing how Des was nailing the voices left and right, but fumbled on Nicolas Cage?? I think it must have been a, "hiding in plain sight" thing, because it was SO obvious LOL

So, speaking of DC connections- Cage was attached to be Superman at one point in the years between Superman IV and Returns. (This was around the "Superman needs to fight a giant spider!" years and about the same time that Kevin Smith was briefly involved. ) Well, the same year as Into the Spider-Verse came out, Cage finally got to play Superman, albeit in the Teen Titans Go movie. His son, Kal-El, got to play baby Superman. So he managed to play the biggest character in both Marvel and DC in the same year. And Spider-Ham dates back to 83. Had a series of his own for a while.

From the UK and yes the er...devil's lettece is very illegal here. It recently got reduced from a class B dr%g to a class C one (meaning lower prison sentences etc.) I feel like I'll be 40 by time its finally legal here. Once Upon A Deadpool was the PG13 version of DP2. It has A LOT of scenes not in the other versions. Its almost a completely different movie eith the same plot. Definitely recommend a watch on that one too!

You missed part of an Easter egg. You got the Goonies connection but missed in the seen when he was shirtcocking it, the shirt was the same as the one Chunk wore in the Goonies.
