Good Lord, this was rough! It's bad enough the tempos were dragging. Add Ace's caterwauling and sloppy lead guitar on top, and this was a non-stop cringe-fest. I wish Ace would get help with his vices and do some serious rehearsing to improve his chops and tighten up the band. If he expects to go out on top, this is no way to do it.

Once again he NEVER fronts up to the mic in time for the lyrics.Sorry..it's just lazy.

Something is definitely not right with Ace. Maybe missing out on the Kiss tour has broken him and he's relapsed. Gene and Paul (especially Gene) strung him along for a couple of years just in case ticket sales weren't the best when they first went on sale. As soon as they realised they were selling enough premium tickets, backstage experiences, etc for the tour to be profitable without Ace, they immediately started bagging him again. The couple of years leading up to the tour Paul was always non-committal when asked if Ace would be involved and Gene had Ace very close for a while, with lots of Vault appearances, the Australian tour together, and writing songs together. Ace probably thought he was back and was shattered when they started all the backstabbing again.

My guess is that its more severe tinnitus causing his decline than his party past. Maybe a combo of both. All them years of bombs, hi volume, feedback spikes etc.. Tinnitus makes everything sound really chaotic at loud volume and greatly dulls the senses. Props to his band for being good and carrying him thru it.

It’s just sad to see them sound like shit even his guitar playing isn’t good anymore. And it’s sad to see him out there doing what he’s doing I can see why kiss don’t want him back which really sucks because I wanted to see all four of them together one last time but if I was Gene and Paul I wouldn’t want him back either he sound like hell. He’s all off time he’s on stage like he really doesn’t want to be there he just needs to give it up and retire but I think he’s probably broke that’s why he still out there trying to pick up a little bit of change here and there. And he was the one that I like the most when he was in kiss so it really hurts me to see him like this is sounding this damn bad.

This is what happens when lip synching isn't in the budget. Seriously though, the lack of effort he puts out is such a slap in the face to the fans. When you look at a band like RUSH, who gave us their all to the very end, it just pisses me off that this guy doesn't have respect enough for the people who made him a household name to get these simple four chord songs right. I had a chance to see him about a month ago, and I took a pass. Why would I want to watch someone who acts like he'd rather be at a funeral?
