My first Timex was given to me when I was a teenager. I'm 48, now. I no longer have that watch. I have recently been searching for the perfect watch for me and the top requirement is how readable the bezel and/or hands are in the dark. The Timex Indiglo feature stood out in my mind for decades as the best. But I must admit that both the Luminox and Citizen Ecodrive watches are good contenders for readability in the dark.

Guys, I'm thinking about buying one of these from a guy today for $170. I needed this review to give me an idea more about it. I'm buying it more for the name and the fact that it's a chronograph, than anything else.

Enjoyed the video - great stuff. The symbol above the "Ratio" (and on the end of the second hand) is the number Pi (3.1415927) which is the RATIO between a circle's circumference and its diameter. Ratio are manufactured in Singapore.

Wow! They really have gone a long way since this video. Mine is made way better than this one. My bezel is aligned, has a sign screw down crown, push pin bracelet, and I think it has AR coating. I’ll have to check when I get home.

I bought mine from Argos today for £29.99, to replace my trusty vintage Timex Expedition that the crown fell off somewhere and I'm very happy with my purchase. I asked if I could check that it was one with the screwdown back and the drilled lugs version which it was, so I snapped it up and wore it straight out of the shop. You could tell the Lumibrite was charging immediately as it even shone walking under the trees in today's sunshine. The Lumibrite is much brighter than the Timex Indiglo, so I'm sure I'll be popular in the cinema when the lights go out and the film starts! 😄

3:05 Huge thank you showing us that it hacks (hacking means that the watch stops when you pull out the crown). Pagani design (another chinese watch brand) also has a skeleton watch, but that costs twice as much as Ochstin's skeleton watches and the Pagani design watch doesn't hack.

I got the grayish dial version of this. Visually stunning and a great size, but doesn’t feel like the best quality. Bracelet itself is disappointing. The buckle’s edge is already scratching the adjacent link and that’s only after a few days of use!

Is it water resistant?
