Wow I'm shocked that it really did help me slow me thoughts, 😊
I could use your help customizing your breathing. I love your voice! It’s the only one I’ve been able to relax to so far. I am disabled and am bed ridden. I am on oxygen. I have facial movements and my jaw rocks from side to side. The more tired or anxious I am the faster these tics move. I normally have an extremely shallow short breathing pattern. I am always flat on my back. I have a colostomy and a Supra pubic catheter. I have schizoaffective disorder, the depression type. I have very high pain. I started my search looking for guided meditation but it caused my anxiety to increase. I went back the next day and looked up how to make my breathing in rhythm. Then I got your video. It was helpful but it starts sitting up and I’m not comfortable sitting up. Thank you for your breathing videos. If you can think of any ways to help me with my breathing I am open to suggestions. I have high anxiety and little ways of working it out. Please keep up the wonderful video’s.
Thanks for helping me out
Many thanks for your help ❤ Taff
Mental health “problems….” Pain conditions….
Im still asking myself years on if at the specific point where i overspent or made impulsive business decisions was i manic or in a manic depressive stage. Its quite traumatic asking yourself this and the constant rumination of the decision made or the loss or waist of money.
Well done Rachel. A real inspiration.
Simple. But works. Thank you
Is there any guided rhythmic breathing for increasing power of focus and concentrat on study and computerPROGRAMMING? can you suggest me any video ? Please!
that poisoned mind more precisely is called the EGO. The master story teller.
A study from Amsterdam showed that around 50% of schizophrenia cases in the city could have been avoided had cannabis not been consumed. Schizophrenia affects 1/100 people, while psychosis affects roughly 1/33 people - so we are talking a huge number of individuals worldwide. Further, daily cannabis use increases the likelihood of psychosis 5 times, and cannabis induced psychosis has the highest conversion rate of all substance induced psychosis to schizophrenia. 1 in 2 who experience a cannabis induced psychosis will go on to develop the illness within 20 years. Terrifying. The enormous mental health risks associated with cannabis use need to be communciated far more clearly.
Thanks, it relaxes me ❤ i suffer with complex PTSD and depression and anxiety, so this works good for me
In the last month or two I've dashed the debt repayment progress I made in the last three years. I was panicking about humidity in the home, started by buying dehumidifiers and takeout, then it snowballed. I had looked at my biggest credit card's current interest rate, saw the banking institute had increased my credit limit and proceeded to spend over $1000 on top of wiping out the progress. I have had an emergency come up recently and so will have to use credit again as I'm not allowed anything like savings. I should have called and told them to keep the credit to the original amount. This video makes me feel better, because i don't think i was manic. Knowing there are spending sprees throughout the different episodes/states is a comfort because i fear mania and hospitalization even though Im on medication...medications have typically been what landed me in hospital. I do hope to be able to figure out how to curb the spending in future. Not sure how though Thank you.
Thank you for sharing your story Rachel. I'm hoping to start CAT therapy soon. I'm scared but watching your progress has given me hope and courage x
Thank you
brilliant
not the auto pilot spending 🫣
Bipolar is not fun and I hope all affected learn ways to manage. I guess this is lifelong... 😞
Where can people go for help with this debilitating problem so many of us are facing right now!
Thanks so much for this info. I need help
Good explanation. Damn disease!
Well done Rachel, so glad it’s helping you see your worth. You deserve to be happy
Thank you that means a lot x
This is soooooo insightful and helpful. Thanks for sharing
Here's the question though, how do you deal with an impulsive spender client as a business owner? Say if I am an artist who sells art at a very high price, what is the most proffessional and ethical thing to do? Should I be open for refunds? What about my own financial ground? How can you differentiate a cheapskate thief from someone who is an impulsive spender?
Suddenly, I don't feel so alone. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Bipolar has destroyed my life

Mine too
Very helpful. You touched upon some relevant points about how our minds wonder. Thank you
Well done Rachel, I pray that I will stop being scared of people and things, im so scared of rejection and not being accepted, I live in fear everyday, recently ive been resentful to someone for rejecting me and running off with my close work friend, it hurt me so bad i wanted to hurt her, because of my past playing out of being rejected. I am dealing with this, I am getting help, I pray for healing, I am healing. im hoping to start CAT soon. I want to live in love and safety, not fear x
Sorry been scared to look at comments, I hope this helped you and if you ever want to talk I'm happy to help. Sending you love and strength x

Thanks so much lovely one xx
I’m in a depressive episode right now. I spent a good amount of money in this month of June right now…I looked at my statements and I’m still on where I’m at. But definitely a lot of stuff I didn’t need. I feel like it gets me out of the house and I don’t even realize what I did. In a week I went to the grocery 3-4 times in 5 days. I didn’t even need what I bought! Maybe 4 things and that was it. My whole life I’ve been horrible at spending even as a child whenever I could buy something. So yes it definitely happens with depression.
I’ve ran through wayyyy to much money. Bought a coat I really shouldn’t have a few weeks ago.
This is brilliant! Thank you for sharing!
Jesus is Lord, Satan is the accuser
Very informative, thank you!
How do I stop spending....going thru this right now....i need so much stuff. I feel that I could never have enough...
This is something we already know, any drug can make a person unwell or increase the severity of the illness. Cannabis is safer than the vast majority of FDA approved drugs which your doctor prescribes everyday. In my own experience of cannabis psychosis, the vast majority of people had previous mental health problems and smoking cannabis had aggravated their conditions. I personally would be very cautious in recommending cannabis to treat mental health problems and would advice people to eat healthily, exercise and mindfulness..
A 2017 study showed cannabis induced psychosis has the highest conversion rate of all substance induced psychosis to schizophrenia. Higher than meth, lsd, opioids. Roughly 1 in 2 who experience a cannabis induced psychosis will be diagnosed with schizophrenia within 20 years. The mental health risks of consuming cannabis could not be be higher or more severe.

Interesting never heard anyone talk about spending in bipolar when not manic. also never realized it could mean going online for hours looking at stuff to buy I do this I have bipolar
An overly helpful friend that gets in the way ("but what if this happens?" "don't do this, you will be judged" etc)
what is the cure for this? a family member has this, does he need to see a psychiatrist and will there be a drug that helps him?
yes, he must see a psychiatrist before too late
There is no cure. Medication and therapy can help manage the condition.
Angry critical driving instructor
Very good
Thank you! You have really helped me.
Thank you so much. I hope you have other videos. I am having difficulty doing the book on my own.
Please share your metaphors for your mind in comments!
This is amazing. You have helped me so much. I have done this module second time round but I haven't understood it until now when I watched your video. I love your teaching style, very thorough, structured, clear and use of great examples.I'm doing the interpersonal skills module at the moment. Please could you do some more videos. They will help people so much
Great video would be even better if the nhs in Solent and southern got back and got down off their high horses admit people for treatment when they want it, really difficult to get and be mindful when you have a physical disability affecting any form of skills, it’s not all about skills people nhs are making these video due to lack of funding, what happens to old school admitting medication treatment taking your patient for a gentle mindful walk it doesn’t happen. Do your jobs admit people and stop forcing them into states if recovery when there never going to recover physically which will always affect there mental state. I honestly find it shocking that Solent and southern have made these videos and then when people end up in the newspaper they say well it is there choice or responsibility rubbish. Help keep us safe give people the voice give them the treatment they feel will help. I guarantee it will work with a mixture of these skills!
Thank you Lorraine xx
