lel the grape guardian deck will come when i get the cards, hopefully soon! and yeah tribute to the doomed is a cool card, really nice art and somewhat disturbing for a game that was geared towards kids at the time. i do wonder if konami will do retrains on old magic and trap cards. i know they made a few different mirror force cards around the time i was checking out of the game in the mid 2010's. would be cool if they did one for tribute.

TCG player is good too for singles and stuff. Haven't used them in a decade though. Usually just do all my yugioh shopping on ebay and at local card shops these days. And not yet, still got 11 tins to go. I usually film and opening on Wednesdays and then do the editing throughout the week and have it ready for upload on Fridays and Mondays. Was doing Wednesday uploads too, but the editing was getting out of hand lmao! But I gotta bring those card discussions back for at least once a month on Wednesdays.

Thanks! and yeah good call, forgot to mention that. i haven't played against a tenpai deck, but i heard it's annoying. i am hoping that when we get the metal flame swordsmen that it will give the deck a bit of an edge, but i think this will be an archetype that will probably remain as a casual tier deck. you never know though!

It is a pretty neat deck, glad we got the metalmorph retrains. never thought that would happen. @@ilikecookie- good call, if you keep your eyes peeled on ebay, you can find some decent deals. and The Blue-Eyes was a little more difficult for me to pull. I went through 14 boxes and only pulled 3 copies of that card. I don't know if it's an actual short print, but seems to have been like that on my end. I've seen other openings where people have pulled them off of one box. Dark Magician though, I only pulled 1 copy out of my 14 boxes, which is wild! When you do get them though, you should open them for youtube if you can.

I believe the first limited list came out when the starter decks did, which was about 2 to 3 weeks after LOB launched in the TCG. That very first format, the LOB format there were no cards limited I am fairly sure. Been a while since I checked that format out, but there you can use 3 pot of greed and exodia pieces. But if I recall correctly, Upperdeck just took the OCG limited list and applied to the TCG when the starter decks hit the streets.

May 2002 I'm pretty sure, which was just over a month after the starter decks came out. Lord of D. had its text changed going from 1st Edition to Unlimited and the Unlimited text is used in this format. I think if the banlist came out at the same time as the Starter Deck this wouldn't be the case and the 1st edition text would've been used

I didn't even consider the Kash engine. Those were pretty pricey a while ago and never bothered to pick them up. They probs do help out nicely! And yeah the Primite stuff seems pretty good, one of the other builds I've been tinkering around with. I'll have to checkout Grandtusk there, good to know some cards that may help things along. I want to try out a local tourney with this deck in the next few weeks. Will be the first time I played competitively in a decade lol.

The primite cards I use are only the roars and it’s three of them, But if I do the kash engine it’s 3 unicorn 1 birth 1 field spell 1 fenrir. More hand traps and board vreakers with primite kash engine has 12 hand traps 40 card deck. Decks on neuron network “red eyes metalmorph”

thanks! glad you like them. i usually get them off of ebay. there are sellers from South Korea who sell them individually or in lots. just a forewarning, they ship through DHL usually which can be a little pricey with taxes once it hits our shores. but they typically show up within a week or so of purchase.

Heart of the Blue-Eyes was one of the secrets I wanted, but totally forgot about because I was so focused on getting those Metalmorph cards lol. Probs gonna pick a single copy up at some point. That card has some really excellent artwork.
